But for me, his price was more ex than Roy but u can trust him on design. He'll help u select everything from curtains, sofa, rugs. Everything. If i got xtra 5K to spend, i sure take him.

We also didnt know but we found out after reading the paperworks HDB give us. But whatever it is, u already pay $2K. Bo pian I trying to create floorplan using www.floorplanner.com. Super troublesome. After 1hr, i give up.

Nope. Cannot return the flat. If I return, my $2K deposit burn. After 1st appt and booking of flat, HDB gave us 2 weeks viewing period. So we call HDB officer to make appt. But there's nothing much u can do. Just see see, look look, take picture.

I had a bad experience with Darwin too. Went to Tradehub21 for a quotation n space layout. Lady informed me the norm for her was to do the quotation immediately but since was tired n said she'll pass it to me in a few days. Guess wat!!! I email and sms her 1 week later for the quotation n space layout and all i got was a lousy space layout. I think my 12 year old sister can draw beter. Lines all crooked. Super cialat. I asked her for the quotation but no reply till today. I guess the more a company advertise themselves on TV, the less lucrative they are.

To upload floorplan from PDF is a bit troublesome. What i did was 1. take a picture using Adobe toolbar of the floorplan. 2. Paste into Paint program 3. Save as JPEG

babytan, I think must bug him for space layout. For me, space layout impt cuz if ID is good, he will remember wat u want n space layout will be very accurate. If space layout like crap, then can drop ID liao. But Roy not bad. He understand what we want. Some ID yaya only. Then space layout anyhow draw. Now I cannot wait to choose tiles on 17 May. Then collect key on 20 May. So exciting!!!!! prodigic, Use other comp la beb. I think Google n blogspot dun like each other.

The norm would be 3D is given out after u confirm with the ID that u r engaging them. He would then draw the 3D based on wat tiles, laminates u choose. 2D or space layout is normally given together with the quotation they give u. If they dun give the space layout, bug them for it. It determines whether they are really listening to wat u want. Hope it helps.

My house got more carpentry than hacking. The ave quote is ard $45K from my shortlisted IDs. Then the rest quote me ard $55K. 1. Going to hack kitchen and toilet wall n floor 2. Hack 1 bedroom halfway to convert to study 3. Do platform for study with 9ft/10ft full height bookshelf and 7ft work area 4. 19.5ft WIW 5. 38ft kitchen cabinet 6. 7ft Feature wall in living room and one for store wall 8. full height shoe cabinet Anyway, if u visit a lot of ID n the ave is $30K, then u shouldnt worry. Market rate is ard there. Dun compare with contractor. They'll be abt $5K cheaper i think but u must supervise and coordinate ur house reno. U already engage Roy so dun worry, dun regret ur decision. Always look forward
