Usually its a different gown from your actual day. Bridal shop would allow you to chose another gown for outdoor shoot. You shld try something that is comfortable and not too heavy. Cos the focus of outdoor shoot is on the scenary and not the bride. Also some bridal shop has restriction, newer gowns are not allowed to be brought out for outdoor shoot cos it will get dirty easily.

You can get nice chilli crab in 2 places of TPY. One is at Lor8 mkt. Shop is called Melborne. Main shop in AMK always have to wait for 1hr for the food. I tried once, not too back but abit pricey. If anyone here who loves Lor Mee, can try the coffee shop opp Blk 69 mkt. Its at Blk 66. They only sell in morning and if you are lucky till 12plus to 1plus in afternoon. They close on Wed. The coffee shop doesnt look inviting but the Lor Mee is good. If you like chicken rice, can try the stall at Blk 73. You can see the stall after you cross the road from McDonalds opp our blk. In case you all wonder why I eat non stop, hehe, cos I am a TPY gal.

No worries. I just wanted to try the foodcourt downstairs since its seems to be crowded always. There's lots of good food in TPY. If you all like Zi Cha, can try the coffee shop at Blk 73 called "Yi Tiao Long". That Rojak opp is not the original seller which is selling good rojak. The original seller has gone to HDB foodcourt located at basement. The entrance is just beside McDonalds. Sometimes you need to wait for 30mins for Rojak. So usually I take queue number and KLKK before going back for collection.

I signed with LaBelle a year ago. The designer has left. Wasnt too enthusiatic when I went to try my gowns last week cos of the change. Hi tension, Like I told you the other day, you have way too much patience. But I can also understand that you dun want to flare in case they make the matter worse. I also dun know what I will do given your scenario. Am still waiting for the independent contractor to give me a call to see if she can comedown later to look at my uneven tiles. If not for that tiles problem, my house would have been ready by latest early May. For those who have not gotten their ID, my advice is to sign up with those your frens or relatives have their house done by them and full of praise. I will see how the independent contractor who did my grills work. If she is good, I will recommend as she did my cousin in law's house. I signed my ID at a Expo exhibition. Now I know even if it is a established or prestigious firm, it also have to depend on which ID is serving you. There are the good and rotten apples around. Lastly, for those who hasnt visited our nice and cozy food court downstairs, you may wish to avoid the fish store...yuks is the word to describe. The price of the breakfast set is also "kill ppl put fire" with coffee tasting like sugered water. Sigh!, Renovation ganna "getok", even taking dinner also ganna "getok". With so many coffee shops in tpy, I think we have better choice.

I think you dun have to go thru starhub direct as they can be quite rigid. Since we are renovating our house and not staying there yet, how can we get timely information on the time frame? What I know is there have outsourced sales ppl. If you ever approach them, many things can be negotiated. I also dun know if they will pop up in the long run. But I think its better to play safe than sorry. Its more of cut-leg effect. And not just the living room. The other 3 rms and even the walk way to the toilets, there are bits and pieces here and there.

Its uneven. So far, have not checked on the hollow tiles cos I cant differentiate Sure, my hubby and I will pop by at 7 plus later. Sigh! I really dun have patience like yours. But then how come HDB officer told me so? My contractor also din believe me and she called up and ask also. Seems that different HDB officer say different thing. To be on the safe side, better get the name of the officer who confirm this and put it in writing. Otherwise, if there is any problem, we will still be at losing end My ID came down and look at my homo tiles today. Told me the uneven tiles I pointed to him is norm. He can do the replacement for me but he will not be responsible for the repercussion. According to the ID, he will have to cut out the tiles, remove the cement level then place a new piece back. The end result might be worse cos: (1) The gap in between the tiles would be worse and the ends will not meet. (2) Need additional new tiles which he has to order and may delay the handover (3) Different shipment of tiles means possibility of different shades for the tiles cos colour of tiles may differ slightly with different shipment. Seems that he is trying to "saiko" me not to change. Now I also vexed over whether to change or not to change. If dun change now, next time the tiles pop up, it will be rectified using own money and would be additional cost to my renovation package. I will be calling another contractor who do my window grills to take a look for me. If given her professional opinion and she thinks its ok, i will not redo. At least its an independent opinion.

Hi howlupjac, Cant get the exact shade like HDB's but there are similar range. Not sure if the HDB officer who attended to you when you collected the keys advised you this: There are only 3 designs you can use for your grills. At first when I told my contractor about the restriction, she was quite surprise cos my house dun face the main road. But when she called to check again, she was given the same ans. So make sure when you do your grills, you got to check if it is against HDB restriction. The grills definitely dun look nice if you are the "dun like grills" type. But it is better if there are young kids around, frequent friends visits with kids or planning for kids soon.

it is my 1st homo tile. The sharp end gap turns black becos of the unevenness. ID sure try to brush it off cos dun have to do extra work. Frankly, even if he feels if it is uneven, he will probably tell u it is norm for homogenous tiles to have some part of unevenness. Sigh! This ID so far ok so also dun want to be too harsh on him. For mine, can also feel. But to ID, he finds it norm cos homogenous tiles sure have unevenness. Thought if tensionz/ meowie49 around tmr, can help to zoom some sense into my ID cos I cant be there. When comes to argument, need woman to be around.

My hubby just called the ID. He said no one measure uneven tiles with the "retangular thing with water in it". Even said if the tiles are not level, it should pop up in few days time. Doesnt seem receptive to do it though he said will come down and have a look tmr. The sharp ends we feel with our feet which results in the gap to have black marking to him is normal. Said the black marks should be removed after the final washing. My hubby is clueless which are the uneven tiles also. Any forumers can help? Can tailormade the shoes. There is one shop at OUB centre and the other at Amara shopping centre specialising in shoes. Their shoes also can make men look taller than their height though look like normal shoes from outside
