Hi Lin/L3x They are only going to start hacking tis week. The aluminum bi-fold got white and black frame. We chose grey tiles for the MBR toilet, dats y chose black door frame with dark grey panels. My other half like the 2 tone with border (which isn't exactly my choice), i prefer wat u chose, 1 color for the entire space. wat to do, its his home too.... I wil take some pics tis weekend when i go check on the progress.... got to check how to post the pics. we decided not to fix pc, but to get a new one when we move in.... in the meantime paying mthly broadband for nothing... Waiting to see ur finished bathroom and kitchen, these r my fav spaces.

Hi Bluefly, When wil it b done? Pls post pics of it after... I m trying to check if the counter top can be cut with a grove (step), so that the sink sits on half the counter top. This way it will be just slightly lower the counter top. Thx.

Hi Lin I wil most probably start blog when the reno works start. PC at home died and don't know want to fix or jus get new system ( i'll leave dat to hubby), and also not dat convenient to do stuff at work. My renovator said to run both pipes along each other, so wont hv pipes everywhere... I m thinkg of changing all pipes to copper/ stainless steel pipe. R u changing the pvc pipes to copper/stainless steel? Facing same issue with u about the kitchen cabinet, mean w rdgs to beam....we r going for solid wood cabinet, so putting the glass and lightings to block out the pipings/beam don't go w theme. So no choice but to build all the way, wat a waste of $$.

Hi Lin If u don't want to alter, u might wanna check out Ikea KVARTAL series, it allows the rail to be mounted via wall brackets. Can't c clearly from ur 3D, r u putting shower screen in bathrooms? Trying to avoid cutting the glass to accommondate the pipings, but if re-run above the screen, then hv to run another one for toilet bowl and wash basin, means got 3 pipes, kinda UGLY.

Hi lingie, U can check if they hv dual voltage model available. We always get dual voltage appliances whenever possible. Hi all, my advise is to check for consumption when u buy washer/dryer/frdige. Cause these appliances are used frequently, price of items is a one time payment, where the electrical bill is every mth. Some of the europe brand consumption is pretty high, so think long run. Had a Maytag fridge that cost $20-30 more each mth, realise dat only when we change to a Mitsubishi fridge, and the Mit fridge is a bigger capacity. Jus my 2 cents worth...

Hi Sarah I didn't buy the crystal lights. Saw them in MBK. I didn't go Chatuchak, raining cats & dogs, also after shopping in MBK, no more luggage space. I like to shop in MBK, got food and relax for a short massage. Phoenix, I stayed in Pathuwam Princess, so jus shop>run and dropped off> go shop again. SHIOK But quite ex, next time i will try out Eastin Spa... Novotel Siam Square is convenient esp if u plan to travel about. I prefer to take their MRT or train svc than taxis, esp weekends, the traffic is terrible. If u dare take the tutu, its faster than taxi cause they can go thru small lanes, but if u r going with jus girlfriend, don't take risk.

Hi Applefeak Jus wondering if tis is an overmount or undermount sink? I m looking for an undermount, meaning dat the sink is lower than the counter top. Any idea where i can find one? Thx for sharing.

Hi Oh yeah>>> BKK, especially MBK is a great place to shop. I bought lots of beddings and deco pieces there. Didn't hv time to go Chatuchak, also weather not gd, lots of rain when i was there 2 weeks ago. The crystals lightings are beautiful and at 100 to 300 SGD are gd prices. But, how to keep them clean? For my new place, I avoid using any dangling crystals lightings. My previous rented place, there were 2 of them and they have kinda turn greyish because of dust, one of them even hv cobweb after 1 yr. It was sparkling clean when i moved in. Now dat i hv a little one and really don't hv time to do extra cleaning. !! !!
