  1. All are in the price range of $2.20- $3 except for the kitchen floor tiles which is $4+
  2. Devils Food Cake is one of my favorite. I love anything with chocolate and this type of cake will satisfy any chocoholics craving. I recommend that you try Tish Boyle's "Black Out Cake" . It's one of the best chocolate cake I've tasted . A bit time consuming though coz you have to make the cake layers, chocolate mousse and buttercream (for me I replace it with whipped cream) but the effort is well worth it. The combinations of the three components is really a must. If you want I can e-mail you the recipe My quotation is 21,600+ and we still have some add ons. We are only touching two toilets and my kitchen plus whole house painting. My kitchen is a bit expensive since I have about 17 feet of black galaxy for countertop. My kitchen entrance is 4 panels of glass and if permitted to hack the pillar I will be a having 3 panels of frosted glass door for the service balcony .
  3. Hi BunBUn! Congrats on your baking success ! So what cake did you bake? The thing is, the big move is this coming saturday already since the new owner of the flat that we are renting is moving in as well . My ID is rushing our toilets to done before our move. No choice but to stay there while thay are finishing up my kitchen. Good thing as well since I could vigilantly watch over them . I plan to work closely with my ID with regards to my kitchen. I wouldn't settle for anything less since the only contribution that he could do is to insure that the workmanship is good . Design wise he never sweat a thing since we designed it ourselves
  4. Love the color of your sofa -------------------------------- My t- blog
  5. We shortlisted Future Homes and Square Rooms. We dropped Future Homes since the ID got irritated with us when we asked him to revised the quotations for quite a no of times. We finally decided to engage Kent of Square Room since he's been very patient with us. His qoute came out the cheapest of all the 20+ ID's that we've approached. --------------------------- My blog
  6. We are currently doing our renovation for our 4 room re-sale flat. Due to tight budget we only intend to do kitchen, two toilets and whole house painting. In our experience it's better to take the package instead of doing ala carte pricing. Also, you should try getting quotes from different ID's for comparison. For us, we were able to get 20+ quotes and we shortlisted the ID's whom we think could work with our limited budget
  7. Last saturday we went to Bellari to buy hood, hob and oven. We paid everything in cash.A few hours later I changed my mind when I saw the different kind of ovens displayed in Lookz. Eventually I cancelled my order for the oven by calling Bellari. I must say I was surprise because I didn't have a hard time cancelling the order for the oven eventhough I paid it already. In fact, Thomas was still very accomodating and I couldn't detect even a small hint of sarcasm in his voice. I applaud bellari's exceptional service. After 2 days they personally delivered the check at our place and they refunded the full amount.
  8. My friend has been using this brand for over a year now and still no problems
  9. I've only went to Poo Joo and Asia Excel. Asia Excel carries a lot of brand even high end ones. Brandt is pricey as well. The cheapest oven they have on is 799 and is only 53 liters .
  10. I'm choosing Rinnai hood RH-90CD and hob RB 3SS. Poo Joo gave me a price of 1,040 for the combination (no stock for oven) while in Asia Excel they they gave me a package price of 1,7++ including RBO-7MRX oven. I really can't decide on the oven part. Among the hob, hood and oven...it's the oven that I'm particular of since I do love to bake. It's so hard to decide as well since it must fit my budget. Of course the best ovens are the high end ones but no budget already. Actually Rinnai oven also good, it's just that I really want telescopic tracks for my ovens and those who have it are usually priced at 1,+++. The reason I chose Bellari is because for the price of 799 oven I have the option to buy the telescopic track for 60 dollars. Also been contemplating on Ariston oven but hearing bad feedbacks on their after sales puts me off. Rinnai RBO-7MRX oven 8 functions price 750 if with hob and hood no telescopic tracks double glass door digital display Bellari 8 functions price :799 option to buy telescopic track 60 dollars triple glass doors digital display Ariston FZ61.1 6 functions sale price : 750 with out telescopic tracks triple glass doors Still couldn't decide on the oven ...but its definitely Rinnai for hob and hood
  11. very nice flat ..looks so spacious and airy
  12. I've been havig a hard time deciding which brand to buy . Initially, I wanted Bellari but then again after a lot of contemplating I think it's safer to buy Rinnai hob and hood. Rinnai has been around for years now and it's tested. For Bellari, I think I'm going to get their oven . I was offered at Asia Excel for the Rinnai package but I'm not too convinced with Rinnai's Oven . I need to decide and buy before this week ends since my reno will start this Sat.
  13. I'm getting a 6mm thick black tempered glass (2000 mmWx650mmH ) as well for my kitchen. The cost is around 400 but my ID gave it FOC for me . No picture for now since my reno will only this Saturday
  14. Just bought a 4 room 110 sq m (mid-floor) hdb flat 5-7 mins walk from Yew tee mrt last feb. 275 + 24 K COV.
