  1. Why do you say no case when the legal owner of the house is prevented entry by his engaged contractor?
  2. Little Miss Muffin how about a picture art or some feature along your dining wall to make food more appetising?
  3. Would a suspended low kitchen cabinet break, if the cylinder gas tank we order keeps getting thrown onto in the long run by the deliveryman, is there a better way out of this, build up another concrete slab beneath the hob cabinet??
  4. I met Closet Design who claimed they are the original company and the company you mentioned is a copy version. Never verified the claim but it is true their logos and names are made to be very similar
  5. Hi Ene, but we gotta drill holes into our kitchen wall tiles to mount this roller blinds you know.. abit heart-pain to do so.
  6. Does anyone do roman blinds in the Kitchen to block out the sun?
  7. My kitchen cabinet quote:- Fabricate & install full height kitchen upper and lower cabinet, full height tall cabinet for built-in oven, microwave, full height box up waste pipe cabinet in selected laminate finish (suspended for L-shape cabinet) - $5,550 plus Supply & install L-shape solid surface top for base cabinet (size: length 17 ft) - $1,550 Comments? Obviously it depends on choice of material and solid surface. The laminate is at $40 per piece or so I was quoted. Tks.
  8. Anyone can post a view from their Atrina flats? Should be looking good across the Buangkok fields..
  9. I'm not well-versed but I think when buying the LCD TVs we should have a careful look at how many HDMI or whatever ports it provides. Plugging an external switch unless hidden, would be equally unsightly. Maybe you can use this TV for another room in the house and buy a spanking new one? Haha
  10. Can anyone send to me the recommended contractor mentioned by tientien. Tks
  11. If the East-West facing house offers a choice location, convenience in transport, good proximity to amenities and a reasonable price. Would you go for it? I think there be good and bad for most things in life, so it can be a little compromise with some gains to be had
  12. How about hacking and shifting the bathroom door to one side and moving the bed to the other end?
  13. Thanks Yokine. By double-flow I meant the combine rush of hot/cold water from two pipes due to the installation of a storage heater tank may increase the throughput. I think the rubber ring is called a thimble? Yes agree that running it at the height which the water tap is located would be good.
  14. Yokine: What is this "stop cord"? and is it true for all high floors to have water pressure issues? Will the double-flow from a storage heater tank solve the problem somewhat?
  15. Grey Mirror effect? Any more pictures for Glass Back for Kitchen for reference. The ones posted by cjb is really nice!
  16. Hi All. Came across this company, there seems be a branch at Towner Road. Any experience with their renovation works? Tks
  17. Thanks Wahyu, very nice read for a Wednesday morning I think IDs are like what someone mentioned in this forum, not really IDs but more like fast copycat learners from others with little original creativity.
  18. Nice house Ranger. What size is this flat? You got some nice view there and the existing reno works are quite acceptable already. If I were you, I would consider keeping the retro archway between the living and dining (not many people would have it you know)
  19. Same for the Copper vs Stainless Steel piping. Stainless Steel unless they be high grade and extremely resistant to the harsh local climate, could still rust somewhat in the long run (just that it isn't as visible). I'm sticking to copper for now
