Just to share my good experience with a good renovation firm.
So i decided to purchase a resale flat.
Knowing that resale flat requires more work (and budget) for renovation, i was sourcing around for good renovation firm to carry out my renovation.
Right from the start, I was looking at the Japanese Minimalist Theme. (Part of the reason I bought the unit is because of the wooden laminate flooring that suits the theme. )
However, along the way, I realize Minimalist Theme requires a lot of carpentry and that means renovation budget needs to be higher. For me, the place must be at the minimum, functional and spacious with little furniture to maintain.
That's when I look at the combination of Scandinavian and Japanese Minimalist theme to match the floor and the use of black and white color to make the place looks neat and simple.
I am lucky to meet a reliable and responsible renovation firm who meets my design idea and carried out the work faster than expected (Mine took 4 weeks for most work to be done, including hacking and rebuild of kitchen and toilet and painting).
During Pre-renovation meet up, it was good and the boss was not pushy on unnecessary ideas to earn my money. He is very down to earth and focus on functionality of my needs.
During renovation, i received very prompt follow up and updates from the boss. He is very responsive to any feedback as well.
Coordination was very pleasant (i have to work, so no time to always take leave to be present during the renovation).
All in all, i have a very good experience with the renovation firm.
