Finally got the curtains... cost $1400 Organza in Living & MBR Normal curtains in the other 2 bedrooms

the laminates not up yet, only my lights are installed... progress is slow this week, only polished the parquet thanks, quite amazed that just 1 row cove lights can light up the whole living room. intend to use them instead of the downlights, hope not much power consumption

We went to Clementi to ask about curtains & blinds. We were advised not to have blinds because of the right angle in 2 rooms... So, we're gonna use curtains for the whole house (boring...) There are 2 shops @ Clementi central that makes customised curtains, the one beside Bata does not do customised curtains. Both shops quoted us the same price, $1400+ for the following... Living room - Organza + String curtains Bedroom - Normal curtains We're gonna ask the shop located @ Beauty World food center tomorrow... check out my blog (link in my signature) for more photos

h4happy, it looks worse than before... did yr ID warn you of such discolouration for granite tiles? If so, maybe you got no case... my ID warned me of my initial tile selection, and the SBH also told him to warn me of discolouration in some tiles before confirming order. in the end, I changed my tiles to something "safer"

Oh... my lights must use halogen bulbs not sure abt the other IKEA lights... their website will explain the types of bulbs used

Yup... maybe tmr I'll post up photos of my lights... very happy with the outcome Maybe I post up a review of some "Can Buy!" IKEA lights !! 1. IKEA round ball light @ $15 - Very good for toilets, I used it with a 23W Osram E27 and my toilet is very very bright 2. IKEA Multi-Directional Spotlights @ $19 - The halogen bulbs they gave were very very bright, blinding actually 3. IKEA Dining Light (forgot price) - I used it with a 18W Osram E27 and I think it's very good

a king bed is 190x190 only... my MBR will only contain a king mattress (no bedframe), a wardrobe, a feature wall and a lounge chair

my reno will be completed in 3 weeks... 1. Need to install lights before my ID can level the parquet 2. He needs me to confirm the TV dimensions... but I still dunno what model to buy... How?
