Just compare it with ur neighbours gate and see if its the same. Otherwise can complain again. Things to take note; - Remeber to check that the gate handle and side locks have not tarnished and/or rusted, otherwise can change it too. - Check that all your windows can open smoothly and does not creek or gets stuck. - Check that your toilet and kitchen tiles are not damaged and the fillings in between does not have holes. - Most important check that the ceiling and walls do not have cracks. i think it may not only be the no. of ticks but the size of the fridge and its electrical consumption. Our parents may have been doing a little small $$ saving methods which we do not know how to, tats why our bills are higher. e.g. Washing machine - use lesser water and spin dry shorter time = save $$ Fridge get a smaller capacity = save $$ wash floor or toilet - use half pail and dun let the water continuous run = save $$ Lights - switch off those lights you are not using = save $$ Aircon - use temperatures above 25 degrees and timer = save $$ Sweep floor - use broom daily and vacuum once a week = save $$ There should be more stuffs, but those are examples only ah. Need to ask our parents for secret formulas

Meowie, you got try monitoring your little wine chiller energy consumption? LCD TV? They consume quite abit of energy besides the aircon. And as meepok has said, the aircon set at 25 degrees would be the best. You set at 23 degrees also cover thick comforter right? hehe....

Why not just gather all those wanna complain and march down on tuesday night to meet the MP session and start complaining there. Hehe... sure blurr one they all... The aircon alone will consume abt an average of $90 a month depends on the usage. Switching it on once a week will be a good way to save more $$$... Hehe... Thats what i planning to do anyway, so that the aircon is still functioning but not at a high cost. Hopefully it will ease the $$$ situation, now everything price going up, its time to pull the plug and save $$$ already.

Hi, i got it from near my work place at Eunos MRT. I think the shop only got 2 or 3 left when i got it today. Extendable cannot because inside is spring loaded ah. This one is only for kitchen ledge and living room window ledge. Aircon ledge also not adviseable to climb out, if any "nice" neighbours take photo and send to HDB, be prepared for a big "Ang Pao" in your letterbox ah. Better be safe then sorry. Anyway the pic is below, the shoe does not come with it. Only for measurement purpose

Hi Hana, You should emphasize on stuffs that the TC are most afraid of, like mosquito breeding grounds when the litters are stucked on the aircon ledge which will cause hygiene and health issues. Food substance which will attract flies and other insects. Then CC your mail or email to Ministry of Health and Environment on the seriousness of this issue. You got to walk down the lane from the Library down towards Courts, halfway through you will see a shop selling alot of pails, pipes, wall papers, home stuffs on the RIGHT side. Go all the way to the back left hand corner and you will see it. I only saw one length of it leh, maybe you can try mine first then if cannot then dun need to buy ah. But it can be good for hard to reach areas like drop your stuffs behind the fridge, washing machine, below the bed, etc.... Anyway mine looks like the picture below, but its the shortest one. Hehe...

By right its the function "AUX" on your HTS. If there is still no sound then it could be the Optical Audio cable connection loose. Anyway it could not be either I am just an Amateur Meowie, i just bought and got one at home. If you want just let me know, but i tried with my height also cannot reach the kitchen ledge. Only managed to removed an "Ancient" Black Banana Skin outside my living room window ledge. Be extra careful when leaning over.
