1. first day of appointment what are the documents to bring ? Documents to bring for HDB 2.the queue ticket no of the appointment date wld be posted to us or we have to go on the actual day of appointment to get the queue ticket ? The queue ticket would be collected at the information counter near the toilet on the day itself, do not need to go too early as choosing of units is not base on first come first serve, but on the appt time itself. Maybe just earlier by 30mins should be enough. 3.on every appointment day how many wld turn up aacording to each individual sale ? Appt start from 9am to 5pm (if i did not remember wrongly), every 10mins 1 appt regardless if you come or did not come. They have about 3-4 officers attending each time, from what i calculated the last time was between 70-80 appts each day. This is just my calculation, it may not be right.

Hi, My first attempt was 20xx for punggol unit, appt came at the last minute and was given only 2-3 choices left at lower levels so dropped it. Second attempt was 11xx for toa payoh central, was a stressful month for my appt to come while waiting everyday looking at the teletext and online available units left. Finally managed to get it, because I am not under the chinese quota. I think the problem is because the chinese population is overwhelming in Singapore, tats why there is this problem of not enough families have the luxury to purchase new units from HDB. So all turn to resale flats, and thus inflation is high. Maybe the govt should start to revise the quota limit allowed for different races in each new flats, that should solve the problem of too many families but not enough flats. As you noticed, most of the leftover flats being released are mostly for malay & others.

At least its a relief..... But why 3 police cars and an ambulance to send a man to hospital? Is it a fight or the man locked himself in the house? Hmmm.... sorry i kpo

If I am not wrong it is 30-40 ppl each day. about 15mins each queue no. That is what i calculated from my last balloting. You just take your queue no. divide the no. of days from start to your appt date, you should be able to guess the no. of queue no. a day. Good luck and congrats!

I looked in my toilet and found no location available for my storage tank so have to make do with the kitchen. The only location I think is suitable in the toilet is directly above the shower which I dun feel its safe when I am bathing with something that huge is above me... Hehe.... I think I over exaggerated the timing ah... it should be around 10 secs for my masterroom shower to be fully heated up like sauna room. I also looked at Liana's home and noticed that those toilets at the living room have space for the storage tank in the toilet, whereas those in the kitchen with a 75sqm home dun have that luxury of space available to us ah. So envy you guys... Maybe after 5 years when I sell the flat then renovate again will be much better and easier ah.

Yeah man.... I got to on it for 10-15mins in advance for it to boil and when the shower is on, it takes another 30 secs to a minute before it gets from cold to hot. Its wasting electricity and water too. But we using rain shower lah....hehe.... so need the storage tank for heavy rain dance and not drizzling dance....

I am using the Ariston Storage Heater. I gave the Gas water heater a miss because I still dun trust leaving the gas on while I am bathing as any small little leak in the pipe during expansion of the pipe in high heat would be very dangerous. So its still safer to use the conventional electricity rather then gas ah. This is just my humble opinion ah. Dun get too big a heater if you looking at Ariston Heater, very bulky and ugly.

Meepok, have you tried the one at balestier? Just beside Closet Design. Heard from my wife that its quite famous and nice, must always queue quite long for it ah.

100+ have a better chance then when i got my queue at 1000+ Like wat Vlanze mentioned, it is really easier to clean. Mopping and vacuuming will take only about 30-45mins for the whole house. The only problem i do not like is the hanging clothes area which not even a tiny bit of sun can get through to the kitchen so all clothes got to be dried indoors ah. If I am not wrong there is no more showroom at blk 79. But 75sqm is really small and cosy enough for a family of 3 at the most. The rooms are small and enough for only a bed and a small wardrobe. Get the 90sqm if you looking at a family of 4 to 5. Just my opinion

Maybe its a plot to let ppl believe that the unit is haunted and refrain you from buying so that the person wanted to buy can get that unit? Hehehe... just a thought....

Oh man....Meepok, not going into politics is a waste of true talent... Everytime a post about sinkieland or the emperor or grandfather starts, will sure see ya start to blow again. Hehe.... anyway after this lets move on with our lives again... dun waste saliva or strength to even think about it.... its a waste of your own time. Nothing will change, nothing will be different, everything will be forgotten, lives will be lost, bankruptcy will be on the rise, jobs will be lost, salary will be stagnant, sinkapolians will be sinking, standard of living will be at peak, FT will be infesting. Many more things will happen, but one things for sure when that day has arrived the people of sinkieland will rejoice with tears and happiness (if you know what i mean) So until then, lets just wait patiently till it has arrived....

oh my.... so now blk 79 is the new location for jumpers.... and convenient too with a nice view.... hopefully something can be done to prevent more ppl from jumping.... not a nice sight...
