Er...dun mean to add to your pain but i had 30L storage heater installed to my place too. But on the bright side, it's quite ma fan to have to on the storage heater for 10 to 15mins before u have hot water running, instant heaters have no such problem. If u sell it cheap on the forum here, maybe there will be buyers, after all, it's brand new mah...

Hi, I have the same table too but i did not take the chairs that came with it, bought white leather ones instead. The table was delivered abt 1 mth ago. Last weekend i discovered a small chip off at the edge of the glass top too, i dunno if it was one of us at home who accidentally chipped it or it was like tt in the first place. Haiz...so long liao, i doubt they will be willing to change it bah but i am considering doing the same as you to put a plastic sheet on top, if you dun mind, do u think u can post a pic of how it will look like here? Thanks a million.

U can choose the fabric/colour etc to ur own preference. Thanks h4happy! Hope it will be functional very soon too, can't wait! Hie hie

I will continue on uploading the pics of the other rooms' curtains today... Curtains for the MBR main windows(White organza and silver layers): Curtains for the service windows and string curtains at the right(to block direct view of the sleeping area from the MBR doorway): Closer view of the string curtains in a mix of white and silver, to match the rest of the curtains in the MBR for a more uniform look: The guest room and study room both have single layer of the same type of fabric but different in shades of colour only. The guest room, is the platinium colour a bit dark???: The study room in a softer ivory colour:

No prob Spinball, i will PM u. U can chk it out if u interested. I spent a bomb on the curtains but no pain no gain. They cost me abt 2.2k for all the windows in the house but mostly bcos i did double layers except for study n guest room. I will post pics of the other rooms soon. I ordered curtains for the whole house as i prefer the softer and cosier feel of curtains but i do know that this company also do other stuffs like blinds, string curtains etc.
-
The colour of the curtains for the living room seems different under different lightings. They are in both day and night layers of platinum. I love the organza layer! Here a view of the curtains in cosy cove lights at the cosy area: The rather bare cosy area at this moment, it needs some more big comfy cushions, hope to find suitable ones soon : View of it in plain white lights for the window near the dining n kitchen area: haiz...my system takes a long time to upload the pics and keeps hanging. Guess i will leave updates of the other rooms to another day bah.

As mentioned yesterday, the sofa etc was delivered last Wed. Here's a picture of it. Sofa,Ottoman and Coffee Table: Hie hie...we chose red for the low-back sofa as we thot that all the ash grey coloured carpentry is making the whole place looked a bit dull, it needs some brightening up! Luckily it is not a big set too as the way we arranged our sitting area doesn't allow for big/long sofa sets. Took leave today to wait for the curtain guys to come and do installation. Really...the whole place looked so much cosier with the curtains up. The same sitting area with curtains:

Thks Jessie, i hope it will be even better after it's all cleaned up.

And now, some pictures of the MBR toilet after it's 'makeover': Tiles chosen: The angle makes it a bit difficult to take a bigger picture but this is the bathtub area: This is the basin area: There's nothing special abt the WC so i didn't bother taking pics of it.
-
Hi Haroldism, Thk you. It's going to be one of my favourite locations in the house besides the MBR toilet. Hie hie...thk thk. i guess we are gg to be at our place alot starting from this weekend for the cleaning up. U are welcome to pop by if we happened to be ard when u are back at ur flat too. In fact i have been itching to take a look at ur place too cos everytime we go pass we can see that it so bright and clean.

Our reno started on 11th Mar with the hacking off of the wall between the living room and kitchen... After 6 weeks, the kitchen has become like this, please pardon the very dusty look cos cleaning up of the place comes later: Despite the kitchen being not very big to start with, our ID managed to squeeze in something like an island for the kitchen, even though it made the kitchen not so spacious now, i love it, it's wat i have always wanted and it was this 'different from the normal' kitchen idea that made me dropped all the other ID companies and chose ***** : With the hood lights turned on:

Thanks! ok, let me try: View of our new and empty living room
