I wanted to buy the latest model of air conditioning for my house. As we are renovating the house and changing the aircon , I opt to buy the best and latest model - Mitsubishi 5 ticks system 3 air con. That is the worst mistake I made - Mitsubishi is a premium brand and the aircon is usually higher priced compared to other brand due to reliability and quality . But not any more, mine unit the motherboard crashed with 13 months - had to replace it on my own cost and guess what it cost $650 dollars for Mitsubishi to replace the board. Within 2 weeks after this cost repair , another problem cropped up, the second room aircon stopped working.
i called up Mitsubishi and was told that it not covered by warranty - motherboard and aircon stopped working with 13 months . So guy do not buy the 5 ticks system - lots of technical issues that the manufacturer has yet to iron out - you dont want to be the lab rat for them to try out this new product - it not ready for the market.
