@Ankle hihi, thanks, will take note of the waterproofing of the consealed wall... i saw your shower area, you conseal that thing on the floor, may i know how you run the pipe to your basin? i assume it is on the other side of the wc?

@Ankle ohh i forgot to mention, i'm sealing the kitchen side toilet door... so it will be a wall there instead.... mine sliding door will be at the blue line, it will overlap the window abit but wont be a prob to open or close it.. so both the sewage will be inside the wet area...

@CaseBlue mine is exactly the same as yours.... the shower point is directly opp the wc, so i'll be shifting it to where the basin used to be, and the basin shift over to the opp door next to wc.... sewage hole will remain as it is inside the wet area... kerb will have a hole to allow water to flow in from the dry area in case washing the floors...

@CaseBlue hi, i think i have the same layout as yours with approx. dimension also.. the toilet can be split with dry & wet area... per the contractor who went to measure and take a look at my toilet... but.. it can only be done at the basin side.. thus, the basin needs to be shifted to the other door area... and then you can do a dry/wet area... i have not started my renov.. but the contractor says it can be done...

@Francis Tay.. i did.. my mom got the help from the master to help pray....was told not to open the house when sun had set.. so is best always when the sun is bright like in the morning or early afternoon.. FYI..

I’ve posted in fb under the west terra group.. not sure if hdb is looking... @Ankle the rusty part is at the toilet window.. the whole length is rusty.. the main gate is that apt of cement patches.. and other parts full of ugly whole paints.. sent email to HDB estate manager.. called me this morning explaining that no one else should have the access or keys.. so mmmm nothing I can do I think.. Guess I can only buy a lock to lock the main gate haiz..

Another defects, there’s a huge gaps, it should be aligned..and the finishing How to accept it.. mmmmmmm

@mmoh I’m not sure if I missed it.. but thn back then I was looking at it with my families and discussing how i can build shelves inside.. so I don’t know how I can missed it the first time (or I seriously did miss it the first time) maybe I’m paranoid but will see what they reply back.. it wasn’t dirt, I tried to remove it using hand but the thing is corroded.. it’s the whole length of the window.. the main gate had cements patches at some places.. it’s not only that part that is poor finish.. the whole house have this prob along some parts.. i paid for the house and yet to get such end products..mmmmm don’t know if I should close 1 eye anot.. haiz... @SuperZ I’ve made appt for the bsc to inspect the defects this Friday, will feedback to them all these.. let’s see what their response is.. does anyone else have such issues??

@fiqa denny Lim yah.. once collect keys, no one should have the keys except the owners. But someone obviously have the keys to my house!! I called up spgrp, told me hbd will have this pkg to put in the hse but tats b4 owner collect keys.. and I call hdb, says will get the person incharge of my block to call me. So am waiting! But I won’t feel secure when this happens no matter what! The rusty thing is really unacceptable!!! Haiz... their works really bad!!

@Chubbyfat2 hopefully mine won’t come to this amt! @SuperZ it’s at West Terra (Bt Batok) @fiqa denny Lim yes, I think they need to re-do some of the finishing/touchup.. it sucks manz... I din turn on when collectd the keys.. I apply online just last wk.. another defects I consider serious is tat.. the toilet window, when you open it, the catch/latch, it’s all rusty.. when I see it I wanna faint!!! See the pic..the whole length is in this state!! I applied online to turn on my water supply, given appt this coming Friday.. But when I went to my new hse today, there’s a package with the SPgrp informing of the pre-turnon of the water supply pasted on my circuit box INSIDE my hse.. which means, someone have the keys to my hse!! I thought once we collect our keys, no one should have it except owner? I collected keys on 1 Feb, went to open the door on 3 Feb, this thing wasn’t there. And today, it’s there!! Anyone have any idea if HDB or the main con still have our house keys to access our new house??

Other than the 2 I mentioned, there’s prob wif the finishing at the doors and toilet doors too.. the skirting around the bedroom door, it seems they just anyhow paint it.. it’s so ugly and messy looking... faint.. Only just registered to open a utility acct with sp online today.. think I would need to wait for it to be activate before I can check the water right... @Ankle wow! 25-30k!! That’s quite a lot right

@mmoh thanks finally after waiting for 4 yrs.... i've no idea why the toilet layout is like tat... don't know what they thinking to design in such a way.. and leave a space at 1 side....haiz... i've yet to sign off the defects thou.. will get it done soon... my toilet basin stopper.. the stainless steel thingy.. i think is stainless steel.. it cracked with spider webs crawling.. i don't understand how they can ignore it.. and the bomb shuttle door, the rubber linning? it already drop out... and other stuffs too.... will need to report it... @Ankle mind telling me how much is your renov cost? did you look for a id or just contractor to do the renov?

@fiqa denny Lim thanks @Ankle hi ankle.. ohh yours the same layout as mine!! so the sink and the showerhead can be shift!!!! i'm so glad to hear that manz!!! i wanted to create the wet/dry area.. and with the layout and was told i cant shift any of them cos of the waterpipes.. i was dishearted manz... hehehhe... now tat i know it can be shift!! **** glad hahahhaha... is your house fully done? can share some pic? am new here.. and there's over 100 pages.. missed out most of it...

Hi All, finally collected my keys to my 2 room flat... just started trying to get ideas on design renov... any gd advise? not going to do renov immed.. but trying to see designs and also getting quote first.. any gd id to recomm? the layout of the toilet is so weird... shower area directly infront of the toilet bowl and both are in the middle of the toilet... wanna go a wet/dry area.. but unless i shift the showerhead but can i shift it to the side? heard that because of all the piping enclosed, will be a prob to shift it.. also thinking of closing off 1 toilet door... the most prob is the toilet.. giving me headache...
