  1. Greenbunny, your kitchen (beside the flooring) cost less than 4k? It is beautiful & very neat.
  2. ohh thanks. never heard of multi point water heater. Is it costly?
  3. Grenbunny that's a great idea! thanks for sharing... i know where to look for tiles now. Your bathroom looked really nice and the lighting give it a very cosy feel. The dual door system is a great idea. Where you get that door from? I saw in your foto, you installed instant water heater. And there are 2 metal pipes running on to of the water heater. Hot / Cold water pipe?
  4. oh ok....thanks. Didnt know can buy tiles. You have given me a great idea. I plan to do a sliding door at the toilet, something like yours.
  5. mmoh, I saw you got the glass sliding sitting on the kerb. U asked the contractor to build the kerb and match the tiles? I find the kerb is a good idea to divide wet/dry toilet.
  6. mmoh, you overlay toilet tiles & part of wall right?
  7. Hi guys, is that a Queen size bed? Is there any idea how to put 2 single beds in the room? Mine is the 47sqm type. I plan to put a sliding door wardrobe. thanks
  8. ya, i know in real area, it is different feel. Like in bedroom, it is not possible to get a queen size bed in. I am using the software to give me an idea what kind of furniture size I can consider. DB box is at teh floor lamp beside the toilet.
  9. Hi Guys, I was playing around with this sweethome3D software and I did some basic space planning with my floorplan. Share you thoughts on this, it is not done by ID. Just me arranging some furniture with their dimensions, to get an idea of space planning.
  10. Oh ok... maybe my friend got it wrong. In that case I feel safe to go for citygas and get a single hob. Thanks alot for the info!
  11. U got a nice kitchen there.... Single hob Brandt @299? That's a good price.
  12. i used that Panasonic model before. It lasted me for 3 yrs. Didnt know the limited is in the shower head, no wonder I always find the water flow so small... hahaha
  13. Ankle, is yours that kind from Taobao that comes with full set? Basin, counter top and cabinet type. Single hob is more expensive? I saw most 2gas burners cost a little bit more than single gas burner.
  14. 1) You got a valid point there. Some bathroom basin is design to sit on counter top and doesnt have a hole for the tap. A taller tap is needed. Will look for taps that mount on basin. 2) Joven is from malaysia, very famous for its storage tank system. I thinking of panasonic or 707. 3) I saw the EF 30cm single hob too. I heard from a friend that citygas has a monthly minimum charge even if you do not use much gas for cooking. mmoh thanks for your sharing.
  15. Hi Guys, A couple of questions to ask, please share your thinking on these. 1) Selection of bathroom basin & Taps - I do not intend to install storage tank, no need for hot & cold water at the tap. What kind of basin (for bathroom) & tap should I consider? I saw from another forum, there are some taps that are mount onto the basin, and some tap (taller ones) are mounted on the counter top. Any pros & cons? 2) Instant water heater for shower - Any brands to recommend? Anything to lookout for? I know it is good to get those with copper tank instead of plastic tank. 3) Gas hob for cooking - I intend to get a single hob. What do I need to look out for? Any brand to recommend? OR Shall I go for ceramic heating coil? Going forward, I would like to cook dinner on weekends and sometimes invite friends over for a meal. thanks alot!
  16. Thanks for your advice on black theme. The L shape table look nice.
  17. Hi Ankle, I be interested to see how your L-shape table top look like. I am also toying with the idea of having an L-shape table. Pls show us the foto when it is done. Your reno gave me alot of ideas, the black/dark colour theme really look nice.
  18. Wow nice shelf, where u place this? Above washing machine area?. You got a huge sink... 86cm.. wow. your kitchen 2.7m, pretty similar to mine . I estimate mine ard to be 2.6 to 2.7m based on drawing.
  19. Hi Andotang, I like the way you install the hUe light, very inspired by it. I am still considering and weighing the cost of getting the hue lights. Thank you for sharing. Can you please PM the malaysian contact who installed your fan?
  20. ryanyth i have been reading this forum and your blog has gave me ideas and things to take note off. Thank you so much. I will be getting my keys @end June 2018, and is the 47 sqm type. I am not getting ID due to budget constraint and is getting a frd (contractor) to assist me in reno. I like the idea of a platform bed, but I am not sure what is the cost. Your platform bed look really nice.
  21. To share some lobangs with you all. I went to Tampoi Lighting in JB and saw there are alot of lightings & fans. Alot of Singaporeans went there and prices are generally lower compared to here, but not all items are cheap. I didnt buy anything there yet as I am still looking around. Instead I bought a kitchen Sink & Faucet from a shop near to Bt Indah, a friend recommend me. Total cost is ard SGD 210 for both.
  22. nice kitchen cabinet... the colour is nice. What is the length of your kitchen counter top space? I saw you installed a 2 cooker hob, it is probably 75-80cm and after the kitchen sink, do you still have a lot of space left? Mine is a 47sqm 2bedroom BTO, only getting keys at End June 18. I plan to get a single cooker hob because of space limitation at the kitchen counter top.
