hi windy! sounds like a very....bz week for u! so much travellin!!! but it's such an excitin time to shop around for items for the new place. the view @ ur place is really gd.......~~~envy...... i got my bed from Sleeping Saloon at MacPherson as well! my 1st item n was bought 2 mths in advance as well cos i tot it was quite a gd deal n i got the new hse owner syndrome (define as "worried tat gd deal will b gone"). though impulsive purchases, do make sure it doesn't clash wif ur bedroom design/colour before u confirm delivery.

got my a/c from them as well. so far so gd.... the installation lads are quite polite n friendly. durin 1st installation, me n hb decide on a spot to place the a/c in the living room but to only change our mind later after they have drill a lobang through the wall! they assure us tat we can still change the location n will help to patch up the wrong hole for us. durin 2nd installation, they ran late at the previous job n they did call me in advance to let me know. they finish up around 8pm (on a sat) n still check all the a/c again b4 leavin n askin if i need them to run through the cleanin procedure of my system. IMO, when durin the trunkin procedure, die die u shld try to b there. only leave when they are half done n have completed drillin all the necessary holes. think it takes a little longer to detect installation faults in some cases though. but touchwood....mine workin ok so far........

use towel rack installed inside bathroom. i agree it's hard to dry..... bo bian....no other place to hang liao...

nice SP guy! even offer to back u up! karin cld learn some service skills from him. wooo.....so fast have pasar malam here. ~~~ look forward to the food.

my case is slightly luckier cos i submitted defect b4 reno so she have no excuse. if it broke after i reno (like ur case), i most prob will have to deal wif her bad service as well. she really stupid enough to think tat reno use so much water?! who she tryin to kid? herself? usually if water usage suddenly shot up a lot, SP will notice n might contact hse owner to ask if they have a leakin prob @ home. so even SP knows better how to handle such prob.

hey h4happy......cool down......all ur actions are truly justified. i'm not makin any excuses for her as well wif my previous entry. (juz a little input on my side....treat it as me musing around) like i say rudeness is no excuse. she needs to b dealt wif if tat's her way of solvin our problems. if u're takin strong measures wif her, it's not wrong at all seein the amt of troubles/$$$ u went through. i juz hope everythin works out for u in the end. ur water bill amt is horrendous .....r u claimin for tat as well?

hi h4happy i hope things work out. though i have to say i did deal wif karin chan once regardin my leakin toilet b4 i start my reno. she was quite ok then n tried to expedite my request cos i was startin reno soon n the toilet leak badly. (floodin...) most prob there was juz so much defect in the estate everyday tat she juz get fed up from the job. my work is a little related to customer service as well so i can pity her tat little bit. but of cos, rudness is no excuse for someone workin on the front line......u deserve to b treated better! support u in ur demand for righteous! end of the day, it's all the fault of the sub-standard quality delivered by the construction co tat caused all the prob. juz saw tat the project @ clementi (next to the mrt station) is also done by china con. gd luck to the new residents there!

5pm and it's not even tat dark yet! he must be in a really hidden corner to get robbed cos the downstairs area always have ppl walkin around nowadays.... the security in our estate dun seem to improve though more ppl movin in....wat's happenin?!

maybe they wan to make a grand entrance.... doin illegal things still wan to 'announce' their arrival....tsk tsk... stupid thieves.....

my experience @ 3 diff Hoe Kee visited the jalan besar outlet once but was in n out very fast cos they didn't have wat i wan. shop was quiet n the boss got tat very attitude look.... end up bought most of my stuff from the IMM outlet. the lady servin me was very efficient n hardworkin cos she made sure she open every piece of the accessories i got to check the condition. was very pleased wif her service. even help me to call other outlet to check stock. was short of 2 more pieces of glass shelves so went to the outlet at PS. the service was also gd. lady servin me also reminded me to check my stuff thoroughly (she even took out a few boxes for me to choose cos i found small scratches here n there. ask me to take my time, no hurry n no problem) n from the crowd i encounter @ all the outlets, it is obvious somethin is not rite wif the store @ jalan besar..... it's a ghost town though it's located in town! gosh....

tat's fast turn over..... lucky i tried once b4 they close. got the feelin the next stall to go is the prawn noodle in tat kopitiam....never see anyone eat! hi memb! i'm from 26B. wow sierra! u really gd....even have evidence of them stealin ah gong's property.....

eeeeeeee.............i even tot of tryin the hor fun this weekend when i go over to my place! but i like the mixed veg rice @ this coffeshop. (esp the sweet n sour pork)

if u like a LOT of chocolate in ur donut, try the J.Co Choco Loco. it's a messy donut cos the chocolate will ooze out when u bite into it (advise to use fork n knife to eat) but it's sooooooooooooooo......... gd.........

i find chicken rice for tat zi char kopitiam is not too bad though..... the patrons drinkin beer at tat kopitiam sit very near to the curb where cars go in n out of the carpark. have encounter a few times when they talk n sway around like they gonna fall onto oncomin traffic....so dangerous!

i dun get disturb by the coffeeshop n cars cos the studio apartments n the lift lobby kinda buffer the noises. but the lift's bell is very loud! the ~~ding dong can get pretty irritatin after a while.....

my contractor confirm the hole in my hse tat is givin ms bean problem is covered up...... he say can only tell if have problem when u start intensive usage of the sink, washin machine. ~~~i cross my fingers for everyone......

agree! my co have deal wif their 'good work'. also a lot of rectification problems which still hasn't been solve after almost 2 yrs of supposed hand-over! somehow in a weird sense, maybe it is lucky tat our flat are standards which means they there's lesser items in the hse. etc floor tiles.... (which means lesser defects....)

most prob they move from a older estate whereby this is the norm..... quite an eye-sore whenever u walk pass......
