i got this in matte silver this colour looks darker in actual but is really nice if u wan ur fan to stand out! (was so tempted to buy this but HTB says it's too outstanding) wind quite strong. or maybe is cos my livin rm is small. (sales lady says the motor is industrial type so is strong but a little bit noisy. but tot wat the heck....on tv, open window, will cover the noise liao)

my layout actually same as u! also got cabinet there so wat we do is swing it inwards towards the bathroom. still ok n turns out, help to block most of the bathroom door if u stare in from the living room. me also very tempted to get winks! but so exp.....! but better put somethin cos my friend hse use slidin clear glass (like u) n one of my friend accidentally bump herself hard into the closed door! very scary....

hi Prettibride i dun have tong shu but my wall-hung DHL calendar comes wif these 忌 and 宜 things to do everyday. 31st aug is not suitable for dong-tu. 1st sept is gd. i use it for my own dong-tu as well. *jus for ur ref if u dun mind it not comin from an actual tong-shu.

got a ready-made from IKEA myself. comes wif drawers etc for more hidden storage option. anyway, suspended looks nice but i decide against it cos of carpentry budget. (since it's not a die die i wan item) if u have the budget for it, why not? juz word of caution. if u think u might change TV/sofa location in future, might not b advisable.....

1st time hear someone gettin reno quote from courts! actually, did u go around those reno co as stated n recommeded by fellow forummer and make comparison? i doubt IKEA will b cheaper.... or consider gettin contractor if u only need basic work n already have ur own design in mind.

any further downgrade......it's gonna b the void deck for us liao.......

thanks thanks...... actually i also have an a/c installed in the living room as well for those days when it's too hot or i have many ppl in the hse n the fan is not enough. anyway, IMO since install a/c in every room liao, might as well do the living rm otherwise next time do again very troublesome.

wow...the original granite floors being hack off is such a waste. heard ppl payin bombs to juz do this flooring! startin on a blank canvas is a gd start, esp since the previous carpentry looks positively ancient....

(but when my sealy mattress was delivered by the sealy ppl, they were full of complaints regardin bedding saloon cos they have track record of ALWAYS givin wrong contact info of the customers to the mattress company. they were VERY..... ) it's great tat u found a suitable bed according to ur theme tat soon!

took me a while to debate if i shld get a ceiling fan or not. i'm glad i choose to. actually, wif wider choices of colours n designs on the market now, i feel it's no longer a very ugly thing to have in the hse (which is a concern to a lot of hse owners).
