yes, we have decided on grey as well.. it has more pros than cons waiting for revised 3d for the floor tiles and we are good to go!

id did give some input, but left the final laminate choice to us to input into 3d to see if our choice is ok or not..so far our choices doesn't seem to please us.. 8 ids! wow.. u are very dedicated! i meet 6 and was dead tired.. unfortunately with budget, you need to see what are the things u need vs things you want.

while head aching on our 3d, we received a piece of good news.. seller has informed us that they will hand over the keys to us on 20 jan.. a few weeks earlier than our initial 3rd feb date. so id will proceed with hacking permit from 23rd onwards and hack hack hack! then rest for CNY then come back reno start! so excited! yet.. head aching on design!

Kitchen 3d second & third draft Help! Which combo is nicer? I intend to keep the blue/green backsplash. First pic is drafter used wrong code for laminate and it is a brown kitchen. Sexond pic is the correct laminate code for a greyish kitchen. Btw, the kitchen tile is as below but id say drafter cant get it to show like tt in 3d. So confused.. The brown kitchen looks more cozy to me but it looks abit dated? Grey kitchen looks abit cool/cold to me.. What u guys think?

our quotation came up to be in the mid 40k. waiting for second draft of 3d now

right! one id that we visited said that normally 3 room 30k, 4 room 40k, 5 room 50k! resale even more! my mouth opened wide wide..

brought my id down to the flat to do some measurements and the actual condition of the flat. realised the following: -the proposed design of the kitchen needs to change cos of our fridge dimension would eat into our kitchen's walkway, so 3d needs to change design too.. with this, even less countertop space - i might not be able to have a rain shower in my master bedroom toilet as there is a pipe blocking the height of the rain shower. -id insisting to plaster the whole house is a correct decision as we can see hairline cracks on the walls -our chosen living room tile is not a real match to our marble floor which our id calls almost orange colour but bo plan.. - our parquet is overlaid on the marble floor, causing a big step up from living to room. hopefully id's way of making a ramp works. -my dream of having a scandi theme is getting further and further due to the marble floor and the laminates we have chosen. after the visit, we sat down to discuss the first draft of our 3ds.. and i realised that my id reads my blog. Hi AN! So we are waiting for the second draft of 3d and i hope the living room would look more cozy and less officey
