Have not use them before but would love your before/after photos. In my old house I did spray my toilet bowl and sink but with someone else (that was many many years ago when this technology just came to singapore). They did ok with 1 toilet but mess up the other one. Also, if you are spraying toilet bowl, make sure they clear up all the water before they start else the part under the water will not be able to spray. Also, tell them to cover all those part not spray part properly and will need to make good if they accidentally spray on them.

Sigh...can't they make things simpler? Thought we got what free trade agreement with US, why still tax this tax that. Yeah...I guess most should know that anything bought from US is as good as no warranty unless you got someone in US you know that can help you send in. Then again, the shipping cost to and fro will be humongous.

Can Recommend Aircon System 4 (non Inverter)?
keltong replied to lxiul's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
Hi, I went for toshiba sys4 inverter. my is for 4 bedrooms, so price will be lower. R22 is the old (and cheaper) gas that the aircon use, the new one is R410 (and more expensive for now) and suppose to be more efficient in cooling down the room. -
Amenities nearby Admiralty Drive If follow Canberra Road down towards Sembawang Road, got 4 petrol stations, nearby the petrol stations got lots of makan places.

Wow...can only say one thing, not cheap. But at today's market, not bad liao. I presume you bough EA? Or 5 room? FYI the EA at around 11th floor cost $400K when first launch 7-8yrs ago, so seller is still making a loss. Simi is etx? Will post amenities soon.

more confuse...hahaha....the VPOST one easy to calculate, the what FOB lah, CIF lah, gosh...

Custom made ah, than dun play play. Heehee...3M got some possible solutions without damaging your table/wall. If you dun have a lot of wires, you can consider that. Also use those cable management cables to bundle them together 1st (or use cable ties) than hook onto the 3M thingie. The sky's the limit.

Noted...will start scanning ebay...

They sell all types and colors. In fact, i think most contractor get from them also. Was intro to Choo Chiang by my last contractor.

Thank you thank you...juz sharing hope someone will find it useful. I went through lying on the floor, cable tying together (still lying on the floor), cable tie to the legs, and using this thing from Ikea. Hopefully can still improve.

Can share where you buy and which shipping service you use? Less than $430 sounds more interesting...kekeke...

Depend on your table material I guess. Coz mine is those cheap Ikea desk, directly screw onto the table can liao. Not sure if can screw directly if you table is the more hardy type. Definitely not drilling, coz table top so thin only. Maybe gonna use more force for more hardy table? Just a side thought, if you only want to put the extension, not sure can use the 3M velco thingie or not. I am thinking of using that for another area in my house. If successful (meaning after few days of trying also never drop), will post it here. Now...where is my extra extension? Hmm....

You can try Sim Lim Square 2nd floor, see a lot of CCTV on display there. Can check around. Sim Lim Tower should be a good place too but more 'messy' than Sim Lim Square.

Hob & Hood - Which Brand Should I Buy?
keltong replied to joper's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Ok..my 2cts..me and my wife just like Ariston, so for both last and this new kitchen, all using Ariston (maybe we are at Ikea too frequent, coz they use all Ariston stuff too! ) BTW, do you know that Ikea now sells Hood, Hob and Oven!! I saw it at Ikea Tampines over the weekend. Ariston and Indesit brand, no prize for guess who they got it from. But Ariston tends to be more expensive than other 'house' brand like Indesit or Delizia, which most of the time got ALMOST the same specs. The rest never use b4, so cannot comment. For hob, you got choice of flame, hotplate, vitroceramic and induction. - Flame is the most common one and for people who cook a lot and grew up with using flame, most likely will stick to it. - Hotplate is useless, avoid at all cost. - Vitroceramic is what I use, cheaper than induction but run on electricity also. Nice and clean but most people will not be use to it. If you cook very little, this could be an alternative of choice. If 2 burner can use normal 13A socket, anything more will need higher Amp socket. Will need flat pots, pans and woks. - Induction is the latest and have more feature, like if you put your hand on it, you will not feel hot at all, it also conduct heat when in contact with metal surface, and the heat will heat up very quickly. Kinda neat feature and good if got children. But most expensive and not all pots and pans can be use (though most should be fine). Need higher Amp socket to work. In the end, your needs will determine your choice! -
The compressor is RAS-4M26SACV, the fancoil is 4x RAS-M10NKCV. Did it for $3200 (incl GST). Recommend by a friend but as I have mentioned b4, I find their workmanship so so only, so don't dare to recommend others. I know Kun Seng selling about the same price, so others should be able to match this price. Thanks! Used it for my last table, got the wire management from Ikea. So getting better everytime. My wife also commented, coz last time wire all over always kena complain. Hahaha... I got it from Palace of Lights at Balestier. Installation $35.

Can Recommend Aircon System 4 (non Inverter)?
keltong replied to lxiul's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
Welcome! I find that aircon is one of the most headache to decide. Took me a long time to decide. Will deciding sys3 inverter, sys3 non-inverter, sys3+sys1, sys3+sys2, sys4 inverter, sys4 non-inverter. Finally after a long long long decision process, went with sys4 inverter. Just hope it will last me for a long time too. -
No, it completely didn't cross my mind till I finish my reno...haha...than realise, hmm...how come no cement below. Guess it is alright, they did put those transparent silicon to prevent water from sipping in. And I don't think I will be pouring water to scrub/wash the floor, so should be fine for me.

According to the can, it says it cleans, polish and protects in one wipe.

So just got it, a few days before my plumber came to fix the sink, phew, just in time. Next change? Will be a looooooooooooooooooooooong time. May not want to live through another reno and moving and packing and unpacking, at least not for a loooooooooooooooooooooong while

Just saw Amazon selling at US$314.99 for the iRobot Roomba 560. Free ship within US. Comgateway charges expected to be US$34 (based on Amazon who indicated the shipping weight at 13lb). Not sure about VPOST charges coz never check. If everything is calculated correctly, and base on 1.4 for US exchange rate, it means the cost can be as S$489, but since more than S$400 will expect to attract GST so total after GST is about S$523. Still a lot of money to pay. Will give it a serious thought and see if I need it or not.
