That day very free and was chit chatting with ah wai the contractor . So he teach me how to do the pointing for the toilet . First wash the toilet clean clean . Then wait for it to complete dry up. Apply the white "cement" on the pointings and wait for about 1 to 2 hours for it to dry Then use sandpaper to "sand" off the excess . Think going to try one tile on my own for fun . I got some white "cement" from him .

you have to log in to flat details using the hdb website . Your T.O name and email and his boss name and email will appear there . qsm : qsm@hdb.gov.sg The furthest I went is the director of qsm. But that one must wait till all failed . Prefer to use a .35 first . If all failed , then use machine gxx to them. Pen down your frustration and stick to facts in chronological order . Do not be discourage to handle all these issues by yourself . I did all the pushing of the T.O and all the emails sending too as I ask my bf not to get involve . I shall be the nasty one . One thing I learn is that T.O does not seem to be keen to reply emails . So far all the emails I wrote , he will just call me and tell me his reply. And then I will follow up with a email stating, " as per our conversation on the XX date , blah blah blah ". so that he remember his promises . Also , stick to the facts and state them clearly in your emails between what is being done and all the screX up things BSC contractor did etc . Facts speak for themselves Hope it will help

Of course lah . My email is super long . And i alway follow up with the same email over and over again and make them look bad . Frankly speaking , they make me suffer first . Xiao Bao , to get their attention very easy one . File a official report using the HDB website ( for official logging ) then call your T.O and express that you very unhappy . Follow up with a email to t.o and cc to his boss and and qsm. Trust me , that ah wai will end up calling you instead .

Hi FaTBabe , will suggest that you deal with T.O and not contractor straight as once the T.O is not in the loop , it is hard to protect your own interest . Remenber to drop a mail to your T.O after each phone call , this is to have black and white record as verbal record is not easy to prove sometimes . Hope it helps.

Haha , i did not tell you guys lah . Actually , they hack everything . Then laid the tiles half way then run out of tiles . And they laid another batch of tiles and two different tones . So the T.O ask them to rehack up everything again . Cause i think the T.O scare of me will reject the work done . I only knew this after the T.O told me why they delay handover for two days . But at the end of the days , got few tiles got trolley marks . I think mine is the DRY method cause i did not see they move any sand in wor . Jialat , can last or not the tiles ?

2k for labour ? Use big tiles need less tiles and LESS time . Write a NASTY letter to your T.O and CC to his boss , his boss's boss . That will scared the shXX out of them . Now my T.O speak to me also scared cause he know I stand no nonsense . My T.O went to monitor the work and ask the BSC contractor to redo my flooring as they RUN OUT OF TILES half way and the next batch all different tones . So re-hack again Did not know got such thing as dry and wet method . So just ask for the Wet method since it is more lasting.
