Square one got block by the plastic case which i feel will be less bright but square look nicer. Square downlight not using screw in bulbs right ? Cause i remember see tubes-form . You can try as warranty is one year after getting keys even after reno . Also how to complain the HDB officer? Cause I really feel that they are siding the contractor. When i say hollow , the HDB officer say only abit , no need to hack lah . My question is why is the HDB officer on the side of the contractor ? Very unhappy with the HDB officer . Also they use that mental rod to scan by waving it on the floor , they scan no hollow , but i take and KNOCK . Then they agree it is hollow. My reno is delay till they finish the tiles on the floor.

Spinball , thanks . If I need it , i call you hor . I am accepting NO EXCUSES from these BSC contractors . No point being nice to them NO POINT cause they are not worth it . Going to see how they going to deal with my NOT SO HOLLOW TILES . I wonder where their definitation come from . To me , it is either hollow or not hollow . Cannot give in on hollow tiles . Because once it start to crack , it will keep spreading and crack all the way across the living room .

Thanks for giving the email . I am going to write a complain letter very soon . The BSC contractor is giving me alot of excuses . Now they are digging up more than 20 hollow tiles in the living room but some they claim not really hollow and not willing to dig it up. Is it not their job to clean up the defects? Why give so many excuses?

Hi Mace , Can you tell me what to look out for on downlights I need to purchase about 20 on them for my false ceiling. Got such things as energy saving for this type of light ? Thanks in advance.

Really horrible of them to replace non-uniform tiles , differnet color tone window panes . Regarding the windows grills , no worries . Me take note . Initally do not want to do them , but got wacked by my parents . Need to budget out some money on it . So anyone got good window grills contacts , please PM me . Hi , I went to Jurong East , One of the shop is call Chelsea Lighting << Hope never spell wrongly Got two more shop beside this one . Just check out all the price . Make sure you ask for philips electronic ballast and not those cheepo Australia one which they put insde . The light bulbs also ask to change to philips or osram Ask for replacement and no need to top up . I tried and they willing to do so for me FOC that time. All three shops shopkeepers quite friendly to me.
