Phew! I only saw your posting today! I got my keys on Tuesday so I asked Eric to meet at my new place. He seems like a nice guy and gave us a lot of tips... even offered to ask his contractor friend if my ID price is reasonable... As he was able to retain the price that he quoted before the price increase of Al, I signed with him then for casement windows only. Now that got not bad reviews, at least feel better... Thanks!

They didn't waive...so it is extra 40 bucks... so take it that I pay for one more month warranty... They delivering next Sat, but I am changing my slimline hood...now having hob on island...

Totally diff from any we have seen and unexpected... and I like the way he described his designs...those who have met him and saw his designs should know what I am talking about... now the thing is to wait for his quotation....

Halo, thanks for the advice! Mine is a 5-room pt and actually I am just installing window w/o the grills... I am not even going for the powder coated type... so far IDs quote 3.3k range... You mentioned that the grills being lousy type, but is there also very low grade for the windows??? Did the window installer touch on that?! Many, many thanks for you advice!

Though not a must, but still feel like changing my resale flat windows (from sliding to casement). So far, the IDs quoting windows quite ex, most prob they also subcontract so prices not flexible. So I thought to find a contractor to do the windows myself, since window is quite independent of ID design... SO pls help!!!
