ON 16/11/17 at about 1am the lights in my rented house went out as there was a tripping in the circuit breaker. I then did a google search for a 24 hour electrician and contact a company called 'Harvest Chivas Plumbing & Electrical Services'. The electrician by name of Steven Lee came and proceeded to check my circuit breaker and informed me that it was spoilt and changed them. After changing the circuit breaker when I put my appliance – fridge, the circuit breaker still tripped. He informed me that both fridge and circuit breakers were faulty. I handed over him $750 as charges in cash for the repair services and he gave me an invoice and his card. He was about to take the existing circuit breaker and said i don’t need it , but i got it back, since I wanted to show my landlord .Subsequently, my landlord came down and took a look at the existing circuit breaker which was considered faulty by the electrician and said it was not spoilt and they installed it recently only. I contacted the electrician and asked him to refund me my money as he cheated me by saying the circuit breaker was spoilt, but it was not. I even negotiated with him on the amount of refund. He denied my request and said he has repaired. He now blocked me in his phone.
The next day the landlord came down with his electrician who checked the landlord circuit breaker and said they are good one and the electrician replaced back the landlord breaker. This electrician even showed what the previous day electrician replaced was black and already an old one and in the verge of getting spoilt.
The owner again wanted to help and called the electrician Steven Lee and asked him why he changed the good circuit breaker. But this electrician kept on saying tenant wanted to change it. I am not a mad person to ask anyone to change a good instrument just wasting my money. I only called the electrician to check what the problem is as I had no power in my house.
Now I am very upset and feel bad of being cheated by a local Singaporean. I am a expat who wanted to live a peaceful life and not get cheated by any one
