I will definitely say that Fisher And Paykel is the mother of all fridges. My 12 years old Fisher And Paykel is still working well and much better than my 3 years old Maytag fridge. Maytag starts giving me problem even before 1 year. The only set back is the design of Fisher And Paykel is quite old fashion and their fridge don't have fancy functions, and of course the price. But sad to say I will be getting a Toshiba fridge instead of another Fisher And Paykel for my new house because I like the color ( gold ). I heard Mitshibishi also not bad but personally I have not used it before.

have to tahan cos most important is to upkeep the place treat climbing up and down as exercise lor my place is near the east when u moving? aiyo moving very tiring whats going to happen to ur current home? Some more the garden so big, very hard to maintain also got a lot of termites, ants, rats, snakes, cockroaches you name it I got it here. Got sick of having maids around so now have to do all the housework myself, tired but more relieved of having 'time bombs' around. Hopefully can move in by nov. Moving hse is very tiring but I'm used to it liao coz I've moved hse 7 times liao, this it the 8th. My current hse is rented ( black and white colonial bungalow). Coz no $ to buy hse so got to rent lah. Btw, are you passing your used carton boxes to me? No luck in collecting from forummers here leh. Thought if I got boxes can start to slowly pack first.

They dam or sim one, make $ who dun want but at the expense of babies life is way too much. The guilty ones should be sentence to death. I have all along boycott china products one, esp the edible ones. They have themselves to blame for pple not liking them.

No lah SmartFool but they are really nuisance leh. 1 group of these chinas passes by my hse every morning, never fail to make noise and my gate outside got rubbish bins but they purposely throw on the floor and also spit everywhere. I've many unpleasant experiences with them before, even my BIL's wife also china(very 1 kind). Don't you know many singaporeans don't like them? I'm not upset with them but at our own gov for welcoming such 'foreign talent'.

Don't expect any agency to pay any damages even if is their fault. They only money in 1 way (ie into their pocket).

No more original liao lah, all taken over by china bumpkins liao. The other day my friend happily bought 4 packets of 'so called Pontian Wantan Mee' from yishun coffee shop (opp the church blk 29x ) to my place during our usual mahjong sessions. It taste so horrible, still dare to called themselves pontian style. Some more those china pple very rude and dirty. I would rather eat instant noodle than to buy from these bumpkins. They have infested the whole of singapore, looks like singaporeans got no place to stand liao.

I can't deny that the original ones are yummy. Now it's more like phui china noodle as most of the stalls are being operated by china people. Yucks!!

Thanks sumobear, must look for cheap and good one coz got a lot of rubbish to frame. Frame up liao at least can hang on wall hopefully can save some space.

Sorry, went to clementi to fetch my son from school so didn't check msg. Gave up on waiting for lawyer to fight case as stupid lawyer also hopeless one lah. Now bought a 5rm at woodlands, hopefully can peacefully move in soon. 2nd appt 22/9 then must major reno as unit is bare original. Hope to move in by nov as my lease for current place ends. Big headache everyday. Never knew that buying a hdb flat can be so stressful. Looking for contractors is just as bad. Bro! wish me luck.

Me having the same situation just months ago. Sellers backed out during 1st appt because they felt that the selling price was low and wanted us to up another 30k. Of course we refused and till now case still pending, it's a long and hard case to fight and I suggest you don't waste time and money trying to fight this case. In the end the lawyers will gain. True, my 2nd appt coming liao, my lawyer send letter saying must pay by cashier's order or cash. I think the stupid HDB scare that our check bounce leh.

Your kitchen is almost the same layout as mine, me also dun want to install hood. Is it hard to maintain the glass panel between the cooking and laundry area? Will the cooking fume and oil splash to the laundry area?
