On Friday, I went to Hafary with my aunt cos mr bf is not free. We drove from Hafary Balestier to Builder Shop to Hup Kiong Defu to Hafary Defu. My aunt verdict is to bring me to look at mock ups. Ok. On Saturday, which is yesterday, we spent about another 2 hours in Hafary. Both days without Steven. However, we got hold of this sales person for her professional advice. Indeed, she was of a great help! Our tiles selection should have come to a final even though I am still not very satisfied with the kitchen tiles selected by mr bf. Will post pictures on revised tiles soon cos the sample tiles are not with me. Lalala....

Hey Shix2_82, is your ID from Ideal House? Anyway, just like you, my bf like a dark glossy finish tiles, but the sales person told us it is not easy to maintain too. So she recommended a greyish black matte with running tone for a modern contemporary look. It's a pretty tile. After much consideration, we stick to beige tiles for living also. =)

It's nice. Like your bedframe from Lush. Is African Black laminate the darkest? Are there darker laminate to choose?

Hey bluedusk! Thanks! Did you ask your ID? What we did is, after signing the with them, we asked him what would be next? He told us select tiles first. Then, we told him which date we are free to see if he can accomodate us into his appointment. Perhaps you will want to let them know when you want to start and when you want them to handover to you. For us we told them we want everything to handover before hungry ghost festival. We will therefore just go with the flow of all renovation proper.

The Layout that does not seem right. Realised that I did not receive a proposed layout, hence I asked for one from Steven. Something is not so right. We wanted a smaller foyer area, so that the dining area doesn't look so cramp. And, even though it's just a layout drawing, I really find the sofa a little out of dimension. The layout just does not seem right. Hmm...

eh... today when i told them i want to go down to select tiles again tmr and will let him know the code so that he can go and take a look on Sat when he is there. Steven is like, "How do you know I will be at Hafary on Sat?" Wahaha!
