Been a long while since I last came in here... Can I ask how are you all coping with the fighter planes fly past everyday? Night time are still okie. But daytime are really bad... wondering what can I do for my future baby room as I think no baby can tolerate the loud roaring sound of the planes fly past everyday. -
sure.. will let u guys know when i'm at home... !!

For those who enquire about the switches, please call this num (68999398) for more enquires. !!

Yup... S'pore is so small.... your house also done up very nicely.... better than mine...
-
finally all done up... will post more pics after we tidy up the flat...
-
wow... your flat is surely very nice...

nope... it's original colour from manufacturer... actually got five colours i.e. white, black, silver, gold and grey... only got 'Fung Yip' brand.. actually quite easy... make sure u switch off the supply mains at the MCB near the main entrance... then u take out the original face plate and you will see the wire connection behind... take out one by one and put them at the same position at the new face plate... Above may sound and look easy.. but if u are not sure, better dun try... it may result in short circuit and worse injury if connected wrongly, especially the water heater... actually the cost is the same for all colours... if you buy direct from the shop, u are getting the switches at contractors' price... if you ask your ID to get it for you, there may be some mark up in prices... This is what I heard from the person in charge at the shop...

I only change the light switches and water heater switch in LR and BR... Less than 100 i think... Current switches provided by HDB is by MK brand also... Quality wise like I say before is still alright... cos we only on/off the switches few times a day... so far I have no problem with the new switches... Zenttera Int'l is located in Blk 257 Jurong East St 24.

ya... did some knocking at skirting at all rooms... then when my ID do the 动土 ceremony, they hack off a few pieces of the skirting... realised only got some cement or plaster at each end...
-
hope to see more pics soon...
-
yup.. it's called "Fung Yip" and it's made in Hong Kong.... they got colours like silver, champane gold, black, white and grey... I also get quotes from a few distributors for brands like Legrand, Clipsal... but Fung Yip is still the cheapest and the quality-wise is comparable... of cos design-wise is more simple too...

Hi, welcome to JW!! mine is not corner unit but also have slant wall in LR... u can take a look at my almost completed renovation in my blog for ideas... hmm.. I never do any overlay of tiles... so can't compare on this... but I realise ur quote doesn't include solid surface top or granite top for kitchen cabinet... usually this is on top of your kitchen cabinet pricing... better confirm with your ID again... Also u mention dishwasher... do u mean ur ID include a dishwasher for u or it's a dish rack? It's a huge different in price... -

Anyone Use Lg Wd14331ad Washer&dryer ?
bpheng replied to thingsell's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Current user of LG Tromm 8kg front load w/m for the past 9months. I must say the washer is good and washing at 60 degrees does clean your soiled clothes with ease. Never try 90 degree thou... As for dryer, it does not matter if your tub is half empty or full. The sensor will auto detect the total weight of the spinned dry clothes inside... Overloading will cause the dryer to go on for a long long time... Try to keep to the designated weight of 4kg when using the dryer function... !! -
New Model Pana Nr-b403v To Replace Nr-b402v ?
bpheng replied to sportster's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Hi all I'm also waiting for the 402 model... As I understand from my regular shop, there should be a shipment coming end of March or early Apr. But only authorised dealer of Pana will get priority for any stock available. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and wait till early April before making any decision... -
mine are mostly carpentry works so it's more costly. It's about 17K.
-
Sorry, i dun know the brand... it's part of my reno package...
