Hi hi I think some hob models of Turbo is from Italy and some from Taiwan. Same goes for the hood. I am also thinking of getting Turbo, mainly due to the design and it fits to my lifestyle. In the market, there are many types - brands, models. Read from other chat forums that a good place to browse would be the showroom at city gas (somerset). The opening hours are abit tight for working people - 9am to 6pm on weekdays and I think Sats is till 1pm. Not open on Sun and PH. Have yet to visit that showroom though to see if its really that good.

Hi neighbours Just a quick question - do owners really have to pay haulage costs and removal of debris to the nominated contractor of Town Council? TC told me haulage is at least $900 for 4-room unit and removal of debris about $170. So expensive... Is our ID supposed to co-ordinate with the nominated contractor to bring in the sand when the floor tiles are delivered for reno to start? so leh-cheh meh? TKs for your advice....

Hi Zanie98 Just read your posting today n saw u r using *****. Am thinkg of using the same (ID Chi Ho) as well. So far so good with them? BTW, did you also do the aircon with them or get a separate contractor to do it? Any recommendation if its some other doing the aircon? Tks much...

Hi Alister Tks much for the offer. Will remember if need lights for my hse. I think I went to yr hse before to look at yr reno.. very nicely done up. Will be talking to Summit Design as well. You did quite alot of reno and all in, under 29k. Quite reasonable leh. Is their only problem being slow in their works? For testing of switches, someone suggested using those plugs that light up when turn on. Dunno why neber think of that before. Hi hi Brillant idea... dunno why neber think of this before. Hi Zanie98 ID who contacted me is also the same fella. He did mention tat he has done some units at Blk 79 and will bring me to see one later. If he is more expensive but quality is good, then its worth it. Will be seeing him this Sat for a discussion.

Hi everyone Out of communication for some weeks. Just got my keys last Mon. Hve been reading the forum pages and realised that quite alot of things to do to identify defects. One question - I hve not activated my PUB yet. HDB told that I can do so just before reno starts. But it seems that I need water to test the taps and toilets first. Also, must I really pour water in the bathroom to make sure that water drains off properly too? How to test that switches work when I don't have lights now? Hope some kind soul can help advise. Anyone use ID from OrangeCube?

Hi, thanks. Just starting my research now, so it wld be good if you can give me your ID contact. But does it mean one must hve an idea what to do for the hse b4 seeing the ID? Otherwise, the ID can recommend anything under the sun! Does getting a particular ID means getting the contractor that the ID is working with also?
