Hi! I love your designs and would like to seek some advice from you.. I'm looking at renovating my house and building a 8ft TV feature wall. However, I'm thinking of removing the tv console as I find it protruding out and collecting dust as we don't really fancy hi-fi systems. Not very kids friendly too. The tv console at my current hse are often placed with some unwanted stuff.. Do you have any feature wall of such designs? ? Looking at black,white and silver/grey theme.

wow.. 25k COV is actually quite a good buy considering it was renovated 1 year ago.

But for current market.. no matter 3rm, 4rm, 5rm or EM, the COV is still high.. so got to slowly see and wait for the right one with the right price.

Hi Hello88, Yes we are first time buyers, and we personally want to buy a house for a long term plan. To me, its waste of transaction $(lawyer fees, reno) and interest if you purchase 1 smaller unit then 5 -6 years later upgrade and stuff.. moreover, HDB only allows you to take HDB loans twice in your life. So i do not want to waste that. Moving twice meaning u have to spend twice one reno, twice on agent fees and twice on furnitures and etc... Most importantly, the time and effort spent to go house hunting, coordinating with contractor are very time consuming and tiring.

its going to be CNY soon.. will stop viewing for a little while till CNY is over.. hopefully, after CNY there will be more flats availble... masschaoz, are u sharing your reno pictures or a blog for ur new EM? hehee

Hi Frostyflake, How much was the owner asking at first? and how did u manage to negociate to reduce to 40k... i am also searching around hougang area now.. but seems like prices is SKY HIGH.. some units i have seen, the condition is as good as orginal but yet they are selling like 30-40k above value. Not asking price. the last offerred price was already 35k but yet they want something more. Lets say if u can buy a flat with bad condition at COV 20k then plus reno u will need to spend at least 50k and above... so I will not say u are paying way high for your unit.. cos u are saving for reno. Sometimes i wonder are they sincere sellers....... I also hope i can get 1 gd unit at an average price >.< Please give me your good luck!
