How offen do we need to top up the refrigent(gas) ? Is there a lifespan for it or the need to due to leakage. My aircon is installed by hong tar 2 years ago and till now i have not done any servicing like gas top up or chemical wash...and i sleep with aircon on almost everyday.Set to 25 degree and still feel cool.

Installing or changing of cooker hob is $50 charged by Citygas which include a new hose.So when changing new hob, it come with new hose.

No...if your hose is inside cabinet and not expose, u can last even 50 years...

Using towngas or LPG? Made sure u buy the correct one

LPG and citygas (towngas) are both different in their density.That why may have different in burning, but that is not a concern for most food lover as u know all the resturant and foodcourt in aircon and shopping centre also have to use piped gas.They cannot use LPG . As for the price, it is subjective..u may pay less on cylinder but not convenient if u ran out of gas...Also, piped gas is definitely safer than LPG

My mother also used cylinder gas even though she had piped gas supply for her home,it had been 18 years already...i also dunno why she choose cylinder gas , maybe it is the cost .I heard that last time, house owner who using PUB gas may need to pay a certain fee for "renting"the gas meter outside...of course now using citygas is charged accordding to the meter reading. Actually i don't really see how much u can save on using cylinder gas...using piped gas is definitely more convenience, no need to purposely wait at home for them to come,it also saved space as HDB kitchen is getting really smaller and lastly, it is generally more safer then the LPG as town gas is also lighter than air.Any case of leak will actually "floated"away as long u keep your window open.

it depend, if your HDB estate do not have piped gas supply,then u have to go for gas cylinder, but if your neighbour or your block have piped gas supply, then u can used piped gas. Piped gas is usually painted in yellow but sometime it will painted the same as the other pipe, look out for the wording "GAS" and the arrow head, if your block have this, it mean u can use citygas. what i know some part of jurong west HDB and shunfu area do not have piped gas.

Some old HDB estate like jurong west, shunfu do not have piped gas supply. therefore they cannot do anything abt ut, u live in land properties or HDB ?

The best is not to hang any clothes outside the corridor, it is very unsighting.Why blame those pervert who want to take them?

Need to check with you guy about starhub mobile phone connection.My friend who is using starhub told me connection is very bad when he came to my home, but i'm consider switching to starhub after my contract with M1 end. Need some opinions from starhub users who lived over here. Anyway,i got this starhub mobile boardband and i can say it is quite bad due to frequent disconnection

Hi blur bug My home also invaded by this small tiny pest that crawl on my false ceiling in my home, first it appeared on one of my bedroom L-box, now they also can be founded on false ceiling at my dinning room area. They actually eat up my false ceiling as i can see "hole marking" up and there...even i vaccumed them off,they will still come back after 1 week, dunno what had made them grow there? although this pest is very small but it is very obviously to everyone when look inyo my false ceiling, i can't do anything now as it is quite hard to put the pest killer on the ceiling... As for the traffic jammed on the exit during the morning peak hour, i really hope the LTA can do something to solve...especially all the cars from the both MSCP had to use the one of only exit. Hopefuly LTA can resolve this soon.

I also woken up by a foreign worker in the morning as he was yanking on the phone...i feel like throwing water bomb to him. More or less, i can see that most reno had already completed..i'm not sure about whether HDB allow reno to be done on sunday and PH. But my ID contractor once told me that resident can complaint if work is carried out on sunday. I will love to see a entertainment or shopping complex being built there...this area got potential since MRT is being so near there.

95% of my living room is covered with false ceiling and i also want to be sure whether this is the main cause of the loud "boom boom" sound from my neighbour upstair. I want to tell them about this but upon reading this ,just want to make sure.

I saw the price of A83 is not more than $2500 at Gain City and that was last year 2008 May.Price should drop further more now. A83 does not have white.

Yah...those people do create some noises at the 988 pavillion but i feel it won't really affect me so much whereas the karaoke singing really irritate and spolit the whole neighbourhood. Spinball...yes i know the exact unit of the karaoke family, as we need to inform the police for that. They are really inconsiderate, they can choose to close their living room window to reduce the noise on affect other.... Anyway, i noticed there are developement plan across the road on the area next to the 989A / 987A. Since the MRT tracks to the joo koon station are already completed and i feel there must be some other plan too.. The new Pioneer MRT will be opened 28 FEB !!

Hopefully i wish this street 93 neighbourhood is quiet cause u know there is a malay family from the 988 who like to karaoke regularly and please take note that i 'm not a racist. Why don't they consider to other as the loud singing really disturb other people who may need to rest after work in the evening and i also pity those night shift workers who have their rest interrupted.Not only that, i also need to blast my tv volume in order to watch my own tv programme .Sometime their singing is till 10++pm, Called the nanyang police before and was told that someone had already called.... Whatever it is hokkien ,Chinese, English Song...please sing it at the k box and it seem , karaoke is not longer considered a "Must Have" in the HT system now...what a lame showoff to everyone.

The waranty is useless if the aircon is installed poorly, i got my aircon from hong tar which they did a pretty good job

How can they do a business like as if they treat the customers like buying 4D?? what got such things call heng or sway.When a customer put money on getitng the aircon from them, they must give the best services and workmanship into it.

Mine is done by hong tar..good workmanship but price is a bit on the high side. for example , i noticed my neighbours which had their aircon install by other companies take "short cut" by breaking the flat owners common toilet window pane so that they can save the trouble on drilling the wall for the trucking to go through the aircon ledge outside their flat. avoid the shop which got "best" name , don't believe search the posts about aircon here and u know

Be warned !!! Please do not buy any furniture from K and D trading. After endured for nearly 2 months, i really cannot stand their empty promises and the never ending cock and bull stories excuses. our nighmare began after we ordered our spring sofa set which they always like to advertise in strait times every saturday.On top of that ,also order an additional cushion fabric cover for the sofa.That was during the mid-march of 2008.Asked them to deliver at early May and they said no problem and "definitely" will be ready by then.Beside that i also ordered coffee table,dining table from them too. On the early may, they delivered the entire almost half of the furniture in the wrong design and even dared to alter our order in their reciept .Ordered a black glass coffee table and they changed it into a lame green colour in their receipt(lucky mine is stated with the original black colour that their sale man wrote), i refused to accept that lame green coffee table because i felt that was considered a junk in my new home and take up place!!! somemore that stupid green colour coffee table really cannot matched into with my living room ,Next is the sofa which made me added oil into fire, i ordered the spring type and yet they gave us a lousy low quality foam cushion type which will sink a inch after 3 days of sitting on it.Called them and demanded to exchange it to the one that we ordered on the receipt ,and they said had to wait 3 weeks for the shipment to arrive ..so after 3 weeks (end-may 2008),all i got from them is the black coffee table and still without the sofa spring cushion , again gave excuses like shipment not arrived and blah blah ..and told them if i didn;t see my sofa spring cushion on after the 1st week of june,i would go to the shop and demanded refund..so after 1 week , didn;t recieve calls from them and i had to waste petrol and times to go sungei kaput .This time, my wife and i went down to their shop and demanded a refund from them, why can they drag for so long for a set of sofa spring cushion??we ordered in the mid march and gave them ample time to arrange their shipment and yet cannot deliver to us??like dat what for they keep on advertise in the strait time if the waiting time for shipment took 3 months only?? after that then they delivered the spring cushion for the sofa to us just because me and wife went to their shop!! Sorry for the long post ...Not the end yet...as the additional cushion cover for the sofa, i 'm yet to recieve from them, as in the early june when they deliver the sofa spring cushion, they promised to deliver to me by 3 weeks and now it is already in July and no news from them!!! So must i go down to the shop again to create a scene to let them wake up their ****ing ideas. K D trading -Poor after sale service. -Staff bochap on customer's order...never follow up with customers request. -Failed to deliver furniture as promised, give them 2 months to prepare and still can delayed to another 1.5 months PLEASE DON"T BUY FROM THERE!!

Can't be?? as it supposed to be very clear.i watch through the channel 304 through hdmi cable connect the set box to my LCD tv, and not those preview 01 or channel 30.
