Hi Softballer, just got back from Bedding Saloon... Simmons Mirage, was quoted $2500+ (can't remember the exact figures). The Simmons Beautyrest is really a good buy, feels quite good too. If not taking the free bed, can take a few hundred dollars off the pricing.

Don't think so that there are any 4-rm corner units in blocks that have both 4-rms and 5-rms. But you consider newer flats that's probably less than 10yrs old since some of these blocks have 4rm units that does not have windows at corridor... or even if have its 1-2 panels at the top, like air vent holes. If i'm not wrong, CCK and SK has some of such units.

It's actually for my parents. The old folks prefer firmer mattress. Sourcing for myself at the same time too. Maybe i should take a look at Sealy too. How much did you pay for your Sealy mattress?

Tried Simmons but find it too soft for my liking. The Isaia one i tried is with double layer... usually for other brand mattress, the top plush layer is latex or foam... but the Isaia one, the plush top is also with coils... very firm.

The one i'm looking at is very firm with double coil. The softer mattress is the one in sliver gray? For the softer mattress, the sales quoted $1,199.

Also, QS bedframe in choice of colour for $299. Good buy?

Was the expo for the modern living exhibition. Saw the mattresses at Home2be... Brand: Isaia. The sales said its organic, dunno what it really means though. Sales quoted me $1,999 for KS, and $1,699 for QS - Double coil spring. Any comments or feedback on this brand/price?

Was at the expo looking around, and the Ackerman sales recommended Maxcoil Extra Firm mattress. According to him, the mattress is a Swiss brand assembled in Singapore. He quoted me $1,150 for the King size. Anyone knows the pricing for Maxcoil mattress? Is it a reasonable price?

Know of a relative's neighbour's flat that was harassed by loan sharks. Vinyl would be a better choice for kitchen. Have that in the houses i stayed in Australia and US. I had the slate looking and the terracotta vinyl tiles. The slate vinyl looked exactly like the slate tiles thats widely used in the bathrooms. Yokine9a, do share with us your source if you're doing vinyl flooring. I'm planning on using it for my resale unit.

Any minimum required height for the legs? Some platform and divan beds also comes with short legs. Is that sufficient for FS?
