Hi Hana, Actually i'm at mid flooring of 79D, was caught out of surprise that shoes they also want. Doorbell so far my level are all intact. My ID provide me with 2 x number locks and change the numbers often. Usually the contractors will chain the gate together with the door handle so to prevent pple from pushing open the door and peep at what are items inside the unit.

Hi Neighbours, Side-track abit....Please be careful if you are leaving your shoes outside the unit. Me and FW just happen to do some check on the reno defects rectification, it's a shortwhile activity afterwhich we have shoes missing. We are lucky to have friends living nearby else we have to go home in bare foot.

Hi Meowie, Ah ha, think I get what you meant. So the tv splitters is located inside the Electrical Riser, inside the locked SCV box. I do notice when SCV people came to activate the SCV signal, they will connect all 6 coaxial cables into 2 x 3-way splitters inside this SCV box. Like that also can be stolen, hmmmm.... Hi Bonkitty, Congrates to you for moving in, you are our pioneer for setting up this Blk 79 Kakis forum.

A sample of how a TV splitter (2-way and 3-way) looks like can be seen at this link http://www.tackah.com/Cable%20TV.htm I don't remember we have tv splitter provided in the house unless is additional.

Hi Neighbours, Does anyone has a right-swing bedroom door to let, can PM me?? Thank you. For those who are considering to use the toilet door as the "relocated" bedroom door by changing the lock-set, please note that the bottom part of some toilet door might be slanted resulting a small to a big gap between door and the flooring. Cheers.

Hi Ryuki, Just bring along your designed floor plan during your light scouting, some shops provide advise what type of lightings to use at which area, they are the real experts Kiddo to you for getting back your deposit. *cold sweat* Cheers. Just pray hard, that the plants don't actually "attract" mosquitoes and "house" their breeding ground. My level actually have neighbours' plants at the rubbish chute area.

Hi tension_z, Yup, according to PUB that the gas 5 litre instant heater promotion has been terminated. But they mentioned a new gas 8 litre instant heater will be introduced in May or June at a price, and no longer be free.
-
Hi tension_z, You are still can use the kitchen mixer to get hot water if you are using PUB gas instant heater. Cheers

Maybe their water is also "rusty" as well.... If you guys have noticed, the food park air-exhuast has changed direction, now blowing towards the road.

Hi Redcrystal, Is your hinges hexagon-shaped or circle-shaped?? I met this uncle going around asking owners whether they want to change the hinges at $18 each (so much higher than yours). But after i saw the hinge is hexagon-shaped with screw nut type, i have doubts about it securing if it is not weld properly.

Hi howlupjac, Usually the ID will required to submit for HDB approval, and HDB approval will replied as "Repositioning of internal door at BEDROOM X as shown on plan." If you are using back the same door, then need more care to ensure that it fit into your new door frame.

Just to add-on the add-on -> Blk B, C & D are linked to MSCP at level 1 to 7 and level 8 to our lovely MSCP rooftop garden. -> MSCP to ALL 79 blocks can use alternate route via level 2 like what jaCK777 has mentioned, so we can avoid the rain/sun and persistent salesmen !! at level 1 lobby.

Hi Yeoman, Thank you for your reply. I just got a recommendation by GC to use ME Sys 2 (inverter) for the bedrooms, 1 x 13000btu for MBR &BR2 and 1 x 10000btu for BR3. Now I'm wondering if the recommended 13000 btu unit will be working too hard to cool both rooms, after seeing both yourself and Liana79B are having a 18000 btu for the combined room. Hi Liana79B, Thank you for your reply. Think higher BTU does help but it also means drawing more electricity?? It will be good if the air flow from the aircon ventilation can spread in many directions, so to cool the living room faster.

Got this from the noticeboard at the lift lobby.
