Hi wireless, Maybe you want to try the Town Council Services. http://www.tptc.org.sg/services.html# Hope it is useful to you. Mirage
-
Hi wireless, My renovation was completed and handed over 2 months ago, so i don't think it will be easy to get them down again. So sorry about that. How about the electrician that did the electrical installation for your unit? Mirage
-
Hi wireless, You can turn off the main switch at the DB behind your main door as a safety precaution. Then contact your electrician to come down and take a look. One thing to take note, if you turn off the main switch, there will be no electricity to the whole house. Mirage

It seems like we have to depend on ourselves to keep the burglars away. Hopefully the Town Council can do something about the dark corridors. Mirage
-
Hi all, I think the burglars dare to strike is mainly because the corridors are very dark without the lights on during day time. This makes it difficult to see their face clearly and recognize their face. And most residents are working couples, this makes it easier for them to strike too. Hope that the police will patrol our area more often. Mirage

Hi Happy, To activate the phoneline, you can call 1609 to activate it. It takes about 4 working days to activate the line. If you want to retain your old phone number, you can ask them as well. But I think there will be charges for maintaining the same phone number. As for internet, if you are existing Singnet user, you can call 1610 to ask them about the change of phone number. They will need to activate your phone number for ADSL Broadband. Hope it helps. Cheers!!! Mirage

Hi Happy, You can check out CK as well. Mirage

Hi Ms Bean, Actually you can just connect the TV cable provided in your mail box and you can start watching. As for TV license, Singapore government is very efficient. They will definitely send us the bill when the time is ripe for us to pay. So no worries about the license. Mirage

Hi Linggie, A pity we didn't get to say hi to each other. But hope to meet up with you and your hubby when both of you are back from the States. Do take care. Mirage

Hi Happy, Thank you for your compliments. I am looking forward to see more of your reno pics. Mirage

Hi Happy, Thank you for your warm hospitality yesterday. Your unit really have a nice view, very envy you. The colours of your unit is also very soothing. Makes one feel very comfortable. Maybe we can have coffee together at the coffeeshop.

Hi Happy, Not to worry. I did concrete support for the sink and stove as well. I am old fashion too Mirage

Hi Happy, I am also using Natural Linen, but it is for my Living room. How's the colour? Is it very dull? Thanx for the pics. Mirage

Hi Ms Bean, We have the same kitchen lights. Mirage
-
Hi Yang Guo, Nice foyer lights you have. I like the shadow effect when you switched on the lights.
-
Wow! You have done up your home very nice. Hope to see more pics soon.

Hi Kelvin, It is ok, no issue.

Hi Kelvin, Thank you for the info. Actually, I am referring to the yellow pipings in the kitchen. I think that is the gas pipes right? It is laid around the kitchen and ends around the entrance to the toilet/bathroom. I also bought lightings from D.I.Y. Lightings too. Reasonable prices, wide selection of lights and good service.
-
Hi Kelvin, From the picture posted, I noticed that the remaining gas pipes in your kitchen are removed. Is it removed by PUB or by your ID? Thanks in advance.
-
Hi Ling, I have set a budget of $800.00 for lightings too. Can only buy very simple and basic lights. No fancyful lightings. My wife is so disappointed. But no choice, have to keep within budget else pocket burnt a big big hole. Mirage

Hi Ms Bean, The Home Shelter door cannot be removed. Infact it is illegal to do that. You can check it on the hdb website. http://www.hdb.gov.sg/fi10/fi10205p.nsf/WP...S)?OpenDocument Mirage

Hi Simple, I agree with you that the kitchen is small. So trying to make use of the available space to the fullest. Mirage
-
Hi Simple, Thank you so much for the info. I may decide not to get a dryer as space is limited in the kitchen. Dun want my kitchen to look very "cramped". !! Mirage

Hi Simple, I understand that you are using the Samsung WA95U7 washing machine. It comes with the Air Turbo Drying System. Is it effective? Are the clothes dried faster than the normal spin drying? Thank you in advance. I thought of getting the Air Turbo Drying System washing machine so that I don't need to get a separate dryer. Mirage
