It depends on which deity you intend to invite. But generally link to store doesn't sound like you respect them lah. Buddhas and bodhisattvas prefer quiet corner. Normally monks is sui yuan, still it all depends on how comfortable you are with the monk. If you think you are fine with paying a fixed rate then go ahead. As long as throughout the process you bear no anger or unhappiness. By right, you still have to be the one who invites the deity to come and 'reside' in your quarters and you should be in the right frame of mind. Some master can help see which deity and you have fate and can advise you which deity you should probably invite.
