Buy a cheap topload and maybe check out a dryer price.. then buy separately.. so as in case which one spoil, oni need to buy one to replace.. anyway, brandt is quite ex rite?? any gd brands that u all think is gd and not so ex de.. becuz we got budget constraint u see.. any recommendations?? and anywhere u all know got a lot of dryers to see and compare prices one?? thanks alot!

hey fcp can i ask a very dumb qn? haha.. so meaning after using the dryer, the clothes are 100% dry kind of thing or still need to put on the hanger and leave it to dry under the sun one? sorry ah.. cuz no one in my house or relatives are using frontload washer cum dryer one.. so hope u dun mind i ask this kinda qn..

hi fcp.. thanks for the reply.. personally i used topload wm a few times b4 but becuz wm all automatically nowadays, so i actually juz press the button and it starts until it stops. And so i still know nothing.. haha.. cuz its all auto now.. thats y now for my own house i wanna buy something easy and gd to use and long lasting of cuz. I heard abt the frontload wm is more water saving.. when u say front loader machine needs more time to wash meaning how much longer than the topload one? may i know ur frontload wm got comes with dryer? cuz im still thinking whether to get it with the dryer... btw wats ur model and brand? thanks.

Needed help from all.. Im thinking of buying a normal washin machine or a front load washer / dryer. Which one do u all more recommend and y? Any brand to recommend? and where to buy to get a better deal? Becuz i totally know "zero" stuffs abt washing machine... and of cuz i wanted simple and easy-to-use machine too.. pls advice and thanks in advance!

serious ah~~~ haha.. my kitchen so the small lor.. my ID at first quote us 26 ft lei.. when he go there and see, he also shock y so small lo.. then he say lidat still got money to deduct from the free 20ft ah.. haiz.. so we do our kitchen top using the granite top - black galaxy! hehe.. anyway small small nia.. also wont cost much... hahaha! Ya.. better dun.. cuz wood ma.. if wood contacts with too much water, will be spoil le.. so use not too wet mop lor.. ya.. last time old flats all kitchen very big sia... can even put dining table inside de.. now if put, cannot walk liao man.. thats y they gve us dining area.. haha.. As for living room, nvr tot will complain abt it.. until we went down to clean up the place... I finally complained to hubby say "OUR LIVING ROOM IS REALLY BIG SIA!!" clean until so tired man............ next time mop floor can die ah... so shack lorrrrrr.... As for reno, we do alot of carpentary work in LR.. at first din expect to do so much de.. but in the end, hubby and i wan to do it nice nice.. so our quote comes up to abt 25k. thanks rav3n! hope the next time i go down see, my floor is sparkling white with a bling~ hehe..

Hihi.. our kitchen is so small lor... can u imagine our renovation got free 20ft kitchen cabinet and our kitchen nvr even use up the 20 ft and still got some left that our ID can deduct some money from there.. haaz.. after putting the fridge and washing machine in, its even smaller... he even recommend us to buy stove with oni 2 cooking points.. so as to save space beside to put our ricecooker or etc... sobz...

Hi all! i can get my keys on 30th jan le!! finally..............................

OMG~ so many things gone case.. gotta check carefully when i got my keys. But all these sounds like my big headache coming sia... haiz...

becuz the grant thing, they told us to check our past 2 yrs pay if we are below the maximum. But later we checked, we over the maximum amt to apply for grant.. so i think we are not eligible for the grant already.. anyway juz now i force my hubby to go HDB ask.. and like wat u say the officer says might be the grant thats y we haven got our keys.. so hubby explained say we cant apply but submit cuz last time the officer told us to. So the officer says he will inform the dept to let us get our keys soon. Yup.. i already got the ID but haven sign yet cuz the final quote haven out yet. Still discussing with the ID and wanna finalise our designs.. I also cant wait to get keys.. haha! a house of my own.. so happi to even juz think abt it.. keke..

Hmm.. AHG = housing grant? If it is, no lei.. i din apply for that. May i know where u check for the status of knowing that they are in process of preparin the letter? Actually i juz know that some of my nieghbours already got their keys and start renovating already. And my opp. neighbour already moved in.. But she told me its becuz they were last time en-bloc residents. Thats y they got their keys earlier around nov. Hmm.. hope to get the keys soon.. I wan to start my renovation asap.. haha!
