let continue with the reno.. sori if the pic and the description of my reno is not in sequence in my blog.. nevertheless,njoy! this is b4 reno.. This is during reno..I wanted the kitchen to look big,so we hack off the half wall and replace with full height glass with glass swing door..

frm the pic it looks nice... if close up,you can see the wear and tear liao.. We dun reali like all the wooden feature..so off it goes.. since the package includes kitchen cabinet,might as well change it.. thanks for your commend anyway.. went shopping last two week at F/M at beach rd,came across this set of sofa at Siang Yiang. i know it looks common,but I reali like the feel of it. so pay a deposit,choose the colour,alter abit here and there. Sofa will be ready in Aug. colour would be grey instaed of the bold green at the shop..

Bot this sofa frm SY L 2.7mxW2.1m.Aunty Ivy is a very friendly lady. she ask wats your buget is becos she tried to match it,not juz asking for fun. anyway,sofa was bot at 2k plus with free 3xcushion. the material we had choosen would be micro fibre in grey colour for the sofa and red colour for the small cushions. hope it turns out nice..x fingers.. If you looking for quality wood furniture,go there.. if you looking for buget furniture,SY oni got the 1 on promotion oni. If you are a hainanese,think she can giv u a beta price,hahaha...

ya,thats wat I thot,he did give ideas,but not much..wat we choose,he will say `can`,very nice`. but he did giv us choose a more ex floor tiles for our common toilet. but its okie,we choose the tiles on our own,we dun blame ani 1 if it turns out bad..so long as the workmanship is good and the tiles dun falls off.hahaha..

Our room floor tiles.In Grey colour. our floor tiles at balcony.the dark brown granite was exactly like my living room floor!frm India. we like our granite ,thus did not hack it. our MBR floor and wall tiles.Only our pedestal and basin is in white.(show when done). Our kitchen wall and floor tiles. arrival of all our tiles..btw,all the tiles are from Soon Bee Huat at Jurong.We choose most of the tiles without any real help frm the `ID`.we do not have any theme for our house,so the tiles choosen was base on wat we like instead of goin by any theme.hope it turns out nice.. Service balcony at kitchen common Toilet at kitchen.

Hi all, Would like to share with all forumer about my Reno. It was started on the 20th June 2008 and is still on going.. my so call `ID` goes by the name of A***N. reno work involve all bedrooms,both toilets,service balcony and balcony,kitchen and living room. It was not a complete reno as we were buget constraint. Only things not being reno would b the living rm floor tiles(dark brown granite),wall tiles for common toilet and service balcony. Hi,we did not hack our living room,because we like the exsiting granite flooring. we are hacking and laying,3 bedrooms,kitchen,both toilets,service balcony and service balcony. As for capentry,study rm will have a L-shape table est 7ftx4.5ft.with shelf. living rm will have a console,wanted the tv wall feature but we gave up the idea due to buget constraint. kitchen will have 20ft cabinet that was free from the package,additonal feet will be pay by us.. thats about it.. pending for addional quotation would be hacking of false ceiling **** rm and MBR. changing of MBR toilet door from bi fold to tempered glass door. overall,expecting the cost to go up by another 3k or so.. so actual cost would surely exceed 30k! sob..

Hi all,Just to update. We had met Alton at our resale home yesterday. After going around the house to survey,we had to add a few more items and hack an area too. There goes my sales profit... We are still hoping Alton would offer us some freebies..hehehe..hope he read this post.. We had to spend 28k to do my resales 5rm,I hope it doesn`t reach 30k.. if that happens,I would have to make decision to cancel some work.cheers!

Hi all, I`ve engage an ID from ideal house to do our 5rm resales. Hope i`ve made the rite choice.anyway have paid the 10%.PONR liao.. All I can say now is that he quote us base on the buget that we gave him and he is able to met it(slightly over).. But I believe that we must give and take.he did not give any freebies which i hope he will but he was able to waiver off certain items. He also gave us a good discount,we really appriciate as the xtra $ will come in handy along the way. I`ve gone thru the forum and no one seems to know him from ideal house,nevertheless we will try him out base on the fact that he is from this reputed company. As the renovation work has not started yet,I really cannot commend on it. Most likely,our reno will start earli june after we collected our key.in the mean time,will source for inspiration on what kind of tiles,accessories,paint colours etc.. Will update in this forum on the progress along the way so as to share wif you guys and gals here..cheers!
