I did engage with them, like before this we have the same concern as you. But when we went down to the showroom and talk to lawrence, we kinda felt assured on the things that he promised. We were also comfortable in a sense when we told him the things we want, like the hacking park and design. He got it like just snapped. Some other ID , when I told them like I need to keep explaining to them. So we have started our Renovation journey with them. So far so good.

I think this price for industrial loft only available 3 years before ba, now everything have actually increase in price. I don't think you are able to get this anymore

Ikr ! hahaha at first I tot we can like fast fast renovate our house, but I was wrong. Eventho we have engaged with the ID, there are alot of stuff we still need to go thru for the small item in the household. and our choices will also affect our costing and pricing. hahaha been there with you

Do you have any floor plan to post on so that we could see what you will be building, and is this an A&A work or does the job could be done by contractors as well ?

Recently we have collected keys after waited 2 years of our BTO, the panic have yet to come. We did not know which ID to find for. Did a lot of research and recently bump into some nice house work that can maybe add into our mood board for our future house. This are some of our findings Was thinking maybe I could adopt this design and apply it into my room. For the bathroom series. Was thinking maybe I could do a Rose gold bathroom ware to match with the tiles. This picture didn't really show what I wanted but just as a guide.

Hmm, it depends on how your contract is set. If on the paper it really stated that you need to pay for the 10%, you might not have much choice.

Haha I think everybody in the forum are quite cautions on who to pick to renovate their house. cause nobody wants to throw their hard earn money into the sea. Any pictures from your renovation ?

In this era that we are living in, I know we get to break thru all different kinds of tradition we used to have. Wedding used to be very formal, at least 20-30 table of banquet , wedding shootings , wedding gown must be white, we should engage to on bridal house or such. So what do people prefer nowadays ? Would you rather go to the bridal house and let them arrange all ? Or just settle everything by ourselves? Engage our own videographer, photographer , buying our own wedding gowns , engage own make up artist at a much cheaper price I guess ? What do youngster nowadays prefer?

I think they change their name already. Now they are called BlackBoard Cunsultant. I am their homeowner a few years back then. Also recommended by RenoTalk forumers. Love their design, their sales will always let me know what is the best for me. Have the least problem with them after meeting around 5 IDs back in my days. Still have the pictures of my housing, as it was featured in RenoTalk. Their workmanship is really good. You can look a the picture and knows from it. My husband and I are satisfied with his work. Okay la, like whatever we tell him throuh whatapps or what, quite responsive. Cause he is the boss himself. SO he look a his project and make sure deliver on time. I remember he still include free aircons for us during that time. He would really be a big help if you are clueless about renovation lol

haha I actually don't think it is a bad idea. Cause no matter where you are , the ID will travel down to meet you. Some bigger ID firms have several shops all over the island

In 2018 , is people still following Scandinavian design ? What is the popular one now ?

For 16k quite cheap already. Cause standard for renovation in Singapore is aroun 20-30k. and above 30k is those with basic design. So I think quite worth it.

Did yo eventually settle the problem ? It really looks quite bad
