We are in the process of filing a police report about this guy. He seems to keep changing his phone number and company names.
In his favour, his tiler (from JB) did an excellent job.
The workmanship for the cabinets was good.
But the electrical was terrible and my hubby had to redo it himself (he can do it coz he is an E&E engineer) and only the tiler ever kept to the agreed appointments. Left demolition rubbish in the corridor for weeks. Stopped work for a few weeks in between. And never kept to his appointments.
He builds confidence and trust initially by being very polite, soft spoken and seemed sincere enough.
Why we are reporting him to the police: took money and didn't complete the last part of the renovation, then dropped out of our chat group and stopped answering SMS. Gave him a chance to pay us back after going silent for 2 months. 3 weeks after promising to repay, he goes silent again. We are giving him one last chance to midnight today, after which, we are going to the police.
