Not sure if this thread is still alive. intending to do false ceiling and cove lighting. any recommendations for contractor and electrician? thanks

My condo just TOP and I do not intend to engage ID since the unit is mostly done up. Only missing items are the lighting and furniture. May I ask how do I go about for the lighting works? I did some research online and have some ideas on what kind of lighting I need. E.g downlights with cove lighting So do i just go to the lighting shops and verify my idea's feasibility? Do they provide installation services? And for cove lighting I would need false ceiling to be installed. Is that done by the lighting contractor too? Or do i need to engage separate contractors. Appreciate any advise on this.
