Long time no logged on. Almost heart attack since the pages almost double! Yes! I dun understand how come got so much rubbish everywhere I stay mid-floor so not very badly affected. But but but... Everymorning, the cleaning worker gives me a BIG SORROWFUL FRUSTRATED sigh when I see him at the lift lobby... because he has to clear so much rubbish Aii... I feel bad too but I can only do my part of not littering... I am sure dust bin has been around long enough for everyone to know how to use it...

Tile shop tauke said, if choose homo tiles with veins, they must be arrange in 1 direction only. This gives them less leeway in aligning your tiles, hence more difficult to ensure level/smooth tiling.

First, know your budget. Second, know ur basic & special requirements. Already thought through where u want to put what main furnitures & why? How many bedroom u need? And hence can sacrifice one room by hacking it down to make walk in wardrobe, for example? want shower screen? want to change toilet door? Need to see feng shui?... I guess it is better to settle those 2 points before u go see ID. Else, just need to make more trips to see ID. Those kitchen work-top and cabinet, feature wall to cover bomb shelter, feature wall and console for TV, built in wardrobe, overlay toilet tiles, etc. You can always ask the ID to quote you first. Then u look at the quote, compare against ur budget and will know what u will/can/want to do.

Hey, welcome! Go through the forum page 80 to 100 of the forum and u'll find at least 3 ID & the co. Personally didn't intensively hunt for ID, but realised that this is very personal, especially what are you looking for in the ID. Meet up with 3 ID then you will understand... and find your ideal ID. A journey that u must go through... Can PM you my ID if you are interested. He has done reno for several 79 units. Can't comment much as just started my reno this wk and pray that things will go well... can only say so far so good and keep fingers crossed...

Hi hi! One more 79Ber! Welcome! Guess we both equally newbie here. Do u do heavy cooking? Then perhaps granite is better. Light colour Solid surface cannot take heat. Put a hot wok on top will leave "burn" mark. Colour changes over time too. Dark colour solid surface will have "cut" mark easily. Put knife on top and then u have to pick it up more carefully then picking up diamond. That's what ID told me... someone correct me if the ID is wrong But if u do light cooking then no prob la
