We are staying in a condo which has been built for 15 years now. Was planning to do a bathroom and kitchen makeover.
Problem is we are undecided between overlaying or hacking. There are certainly mixed review on this from forums and friends. Some say if we are doing, it's better to just do it from scratch i.e hacking. Some say if nothing has gone wrong then better to overlay as you don't want to risk the new contractor not doing a good waterproofing. We've checked with the neighbour downstairs and there has never been any leakage problem.
