hi... my 7mths baby is used the airplane noise, music from the dancing aunties (now better, when i was pregnant, the music really irrirates me and i know wat song coming up next ... and noise from the sepak takraw players.... he sleeps so soundly... guess he already used to the noise when he was in my tummy...

hi, nora. welcome to 677C. i have the same layout but mine is a mirror image of yours. my unit is still undoing HDB defects retifying, its been like 3 weeks already. Came down last week to check on the defects. sigh some still pending and some works they claimed they already rectified. but my parquet and living room tile still uneven. its a clear cut thing tt item not yet rectify. dunno wait till donkey years... give them another 2 weeks to finish up watever is pending as i told them my reno starts april. today im going down to my unit to see if anything have been done. sigh. already signed up with a contractor, already told him wat we want and now waiting for designs of our kitchen cabinet and Household shelter feature wall.

had checked on the house few days back, regrouting done. replacement of hollow tiles done but unfortunately, or should i say fortunately found one tile uneven w sharp edge. already bring the matter up via online defect report. sigh. the whole house still dusty and still undergoing the defects rectifying... so for now... juz wait and see...

hi, in your previous post. u did mentioned that u have ur peachy grout line in the living/ dinning area replaced right. juz wondering.. are ur both toilets and kitchen grout line in white or of light greyish in color?

hi... same layout as mine, mine is a mirror image as yours. which blk are u staying at?

my hubby, both our parents and i went to open house yesterday... we came close to 15 no of defects. i found that the grout lines in between tiles are quite dirty.we did some scrubbing and mopping and the grouts are still dirty and in peachy colour. arent they supposed to b white? esp the toilets, cement and paint stains,dirty grout lines and we nearly missed checking our bedroom doors it cant close properly... it seems that the doors are not properly aligned, we need to really push doors to make it close. Excess glue stains on our parquet flooring, the joints between the parquet flooring and skirting. hubbby and i will continue our defect findings this weekend. will update pics soon!

@ last .... will be signing and getting the keys on the 19 FEB!

gd idea also... but the middle of the living might be a bit cramp... yup... the floorplan looks more slanted.... its actually long n narrow living room... whereas the unit next door is the mirror image but living is short n wide...

dining table + smelly shoes doesnt mix well.. despite the slanted design, i have more option as im able to shift furniture now n then...

yup... a very challenging unit.... thanks for ur views... dining near the kitchen is a definate... still figuring out where to place the TV and sofa... as for the sofa, to get L shape or 3seater, if sofa gets to big.. will look cramp.... hehhehe....
