2-Room Bto

You can make full use of the open space by hanging yr TV on a pole so that you can turn around watching when in living room or in bed. If not putting the TV in the center is like a bit wasted for the open space. For me, I will mount the TV on the living room wall and place my sofa in the partition area. Like that both my bed and sofa is facing the TV and I can fully enjoy the open space created. -

I installed storage heater. It is not inside my false wall. it was installed on the wall above my toilet door that linked to the hot/cold water outlets. No one will ever advise you to hide your heater ( instant or storage) inside a false wall. Leakage and maintainace is a big problem. Don't do that! I stay at top floor. I don't have a ceiling fan but I don't mind installing it in future. Don't worry about things from hearsay only. If you need one just go do it. -

You definitely need to extend the pipes from the original basin outlets to your waist height for shower mixer. Build a false wall to cover up the extension pipes are the only way to make it look neat. If not, go for raw toilet look with pipes exposed! -

I did not hack my wall. I build a false wall to cover up the pipes. I think it's necessary if you don't want exposed pipings. -

I changed my toilet basin and shower position too. Initially, I was shocked that my contractor told me it will cost additional few hundred dollars to build a false wall in order to install a counter top and a tap on it. I was not willing to spend additional money for that considering that I have already spend thousands to overlay my toilet walls. So I crack my head and finally found a wall mounted basin tap that looks quite cool that also goes well with my counter top basin. -

It's not a door. It's a fixed opaque glass panel. -

Running aircon pipes for 2 room is very stright forward. The space so small so only limited options to lay pipes. My pipes are all directly above door frames. I am too lazy to take photos. Haha. -

Finally my reno was completed and I would like to share with you guys what I have done to my place. Simple furnishing in dark earthly tone. 1. Living and bed room without furniture yet. 2. Furniture starts coming in.. 3. Re-tiled bathrooom (can't stand the original HDB white tiles...) 4. Kitchen with subway tiles -
Nice Living room feature wall. May I know where you install your eubiq at the Tv? Is it wall mount or u hide it inside the drawer? Thks.
