HDB is doing screeding for me. Thats why its taking yrs... argh.. My ID just ask his own contractor to do some marking on the walls. Think maybe he tried turning on my tap and realise that there was no H20.

So pissed off... My ID called me today to tell me that my new home do not have water and they cant do floor screeding! But I have already activated the water supply from SP Power. Think the hdb contractor turned off my water supply as I complained that the water pipe was leaking over at the kitchen. Plus they are taking like weeks to resolve all defects that I have reported. Submitted the defect form on 24dec. Up till today still no news from them. Hope that my reno will not delay further....

Havent really decided on the colors yet. Probably going for more"whitish-tone" color. Thanks for the advice.

Oh... I'm not doing the dining table. Only doing the dining bench (which is also a storage bench). Doing the whole dining set would be too much of carpentary work and cost me a bomb! My ID just put in the dining table to make the pic looks complete.. Its cushion. But still deciding on whether to get square or long vertical strips for the bedhead cushion. Hopefully the real work looks as nice. Dont dare to pin too much hopes after reading through so many forums. So many ppl complain abt their carpentary work and etc.. Think ID always likes to paint a very nice picture for their customers.. haha Thought its really appropriate to put the shoe cabinet to occupy the "right angle" wall... but i guess i can only put like at most 10 pairs of shoes....

Understand that there is a gap. But i thought thats to prevent the sliding door from hitting the circuit breaker box? Thought of doing a transparent tampered glass for the sliding door.. (then get some vinyl sticker to stick on the door and wall from Winkplay) Do u think its going to terrible with that gap? Roughly whats the size of gap?

Hi xlan, Nice sliding door! Btw, is yours a 4rm or 5 rm? Cos my ID keep insisting that there is a circuit breaker box and he cant do sliding. Kind of piss me off.. arghh.. Btw, how much did your id quote you for the sliding door and false wall above the kitchen wall?
