Anyone know which company in SG carries this Italian brand lock?. I am looking for the electromagnetic lock for my side gate. Thanks.

The roof covered and most of the false ceiling except for master bedroom bathroom and 1 bedroom on the first floor not done yet. I cannot gage if it is 60% but i suspect fairly. As all the plumbing conceal parts and cassette aircon have been installed and plastered. I am anticipating TOP in end August.

It has been some time since i have posted anything as an update, i have quite a bit of pics and it's difficult to do it one by one but i will try. This is what it looks like after about 3 mths of hiatus from posting. First floor Main entrance, different angle of it. I have actually forgotten how to post pics, will post the rest tonight.

Thanks for your insight to the spray painting. I have no idea on all these cabinet stuff but my contractor sort of stump me with a quote that if i want a better gloss finished "like the angmo", add $40k and it can be done. I assume this is not just the kitchen but the rest of the wardrobe in the house as well. I actually read about 16 pages of what i could find on this topic and it seems this is not a "new" but had been discussed multiple times and here are my list of are the possible solutions: 1. ABS trim 2. Postforming 3. Solid core "Tak" i gather is a popular laminate that most if not all the forumer uses. When i surfed their website, they do have products catered to this issue and i suspect a lot have been done since 2005 (earliest post i could find) to reduce or eliminate this limitation. As the kitchen is still being conceptualize, we still have some time to sort this out with the contractor. my kitchen is not done yet, so nothing to repair or repaint.

anyone has done this, the kitchen cabinet doors?. I was told this is very ex, if you use laminates, you can see the "dark" line at the joint but if you spray paint this, it will not be the case. Any information to share here will be great.

anyone has any experience with getting your electrician to install shaver pt in the toilet?. or where i can read up about if there is any ruling on this. I saw the shaver pt usually comes with 110V and also the 230V, is this an issue?. Thanks

Mr. Chong, would you dispute the claim that "the door facing door" is nothing more than a housewife tale instead of anything bad from a fs perspective.

better than what i have in my contract, i was given a $100m2, which really can get sh*t for the price unless you are homo tiles. In the end, i told them to reverse out the cost back to me for the material and i will get my own marble, which we did. I went to get ariston and increase th size per piece from 600x600 to 900x900. If you need help, can give you some shop names to consider.

what is your allowable price range from your contract?

Materials Used For The Attic Floor
wuga98 replied to stl67's topic in Landed & Condo Private Properties Renovation Discussion
i seems to see more by solid steel than wood, unless you specifically requested for it and your theme is very balinese. As for price, i have no idea but my guest will have to be wood as being the more expensive option. The reason is really, you need some hard wood that will last....and i think this cost money. -
sorry to hear about ur plight, i am sort of having the same issue like you and am not sure if it is an error or the setback, they told me we have max the build area allowable, but when i saw the design on paper during discussion it seems much bigger. As my living room is at the back, my front room and powder room sacrifice some of the space. If you can PM me your address(or hp), we can share some some point, as i am almost in completion of my house. There are more tricks up their sleeve, i can tell you.

bebe: may i know where you got this lamp? and how much?. I saw in a recent magazine, they displayed one that is a chandelier on a show house. Thanks.

anyone has any experience with engaging M&E consultants?. A buddy of mine asked me the price etc... and i am not sure what is the market rate and how they derive the cost. Anyone has any experinece in this area?. Thanks

is there a concern if it is open frequently?. The idea behind is that folks in the house can go to the side of the house to do whatever instead of going out thru the main door and then make a big "u" turn. In fact, i just came back from a house in breamer drive which has exactly the same layout. The glass door open out into a koi pond at the side of the house. Plc comment.

is there any fengshui concern for the mouth of the staircase (where the opening is) to face a sliding glass door that can open out into the lawn? Thanks

it may not be appropriate to list the psf here but i found the quality and the price somewhat cheaper than some shops we went to. We got the Ariston and the siez is 900x900. Included in the price is dry lay and also coating of sealant. My suggestion is to choice the type first, "name" and then ask a few shops to compare price. Also bare in mind that marble in natural stone and it will have natural vein lines, some marble have a lot of these, some a little less. Pls specific on what you want to get the right apple to apple comparison. no idea about 1.5 yrs ago, but considering now, i find they have enough to keep me confuse.

Took this today at the site after lunch. Hopefully we can see more of the 2nd floor next week.

we bought our marbles and all homo tiles from them. Am still assessing if we shd be getting all the kitchen and vanity top from them. They have more choices and also some of their tiles are very competitive.

Here is the pic i took at about 4pm today, the first storey is done, they will cast the 2nd storey next week.

you are correct, you can have 1 single piece with integrated sink, they have a display at stiles. Wife likes it but i worry about the maintenance, so we drop the idea.
