i am not sure if there is an international standard to defects. I have owned apartments and now a house... if you have the time and patient, i am sure there is a published list somewhere out there that you can google to see if that helps. here is my opinion, i just don't have the time and knowledge to go and check every square inche of the house thus i just buy the service of a professional company that does these kind of things. Well, the price depends on the size of your place and most likely they will need a few hrs to check. Your will get stickers on defects and also a pictured bounded report of it. haha the choice is yours.

i don;t have one but it will save you space and easy to construct. I was at a new penthouse that is for sale, it has one but i did not like it as it feels really flimsy... it could be just me but do look around...

The one that may be flowing across multiple house to yours could be the drain(longkang). I is an open drain? or a conceal one.. you need to check. As water is "wealth", so all your neighbour's wealth will come to your house, hahaha ...if it is really a sh*t sewer, then you get wealth and "gold"

i saw some advert in the papers and some flyers on and off, anyone has use this for their timber deck instead of the more conventional hard wood like chengal/balau etc? I read they look like wood but am not sure if the feel is going to be plasticy and also heated more than natural wood. If you have experience using this alternative, pls share. Thanks

These are shops that are dedicated for children furnitures and they are having some discount due to gss but they are not cheap. no harm giving them a visit and decide.
