Hi rufus, What about half-round curved sliding shower door? Well jotorloh is right that it really depends on the location of floor trap. We will have to wait till we get keys and check floor trap location. And your toilet is still much better as it faces living room instead of splitting into two entrances!

According to https://www.scdf.gov.sg/content/scdf_internet/en/building-professionals/cd-shelter/permitted-works-for-household.html, "Closing or covering up of ventilation openings by removable aesthetic or architectural finishes is allowed, provided that at least 25% of the total area of the two openings shall be left uncovered for ventilation purposes during peacetime." So has anybody here done anything to any ventilation openings of your household shelter? As we know, our household shelter has two ventilation openings - close and open position. In my flat, if i am not wrong, open position is facing living room while close position faces kitchen. If I plan to install wall cabinet in living room, am I permitted to switch positions?

Is it true that we are not allowed to hack bathroom wall for 3 years? You see, I plan to reposition door entry from right to left so that I can put vanity cabinet for my wash basin. See my floor plan. Btw, I plan to seal bedroom-side door for the sake of wet/dry bathroom and also to prevent moisture from invading my bedroom. Mould, go away!

In case mmoh is wondering, it is another (f) ;P Will be getting 2 room BTO Type 2 (47m) in Bukit Batok this year (4Q) but though I wish to get it earlier than TOP, I prefer its construction company to go at normal rate to ensure good quality and no defects! Don't rush, please. My first innocent question.. Are any of you using online website/software to design your home? I am currently using http://www.roomsketcher.com but yet to upgrade to get more features because i would like to see if there are actually other better home design software/website than roomsketcher.com Thanks in advance! =)
