Of taps and shower sets ... We finally bought taps and shower sets today. We chose Grohe because of its quality and design. Although Hansgrohe is currently the leading designer brand in the market and slightly more affordable than Grohe, we are still quite decided on getting Grohe. After 'trying out' many Hansgrohe taps at Park Mall, many of the display pieces are faulty. Moving parts like the handles are very jerky and not smooth when lifted or when pushed to close. Also, most Hansgrohe stuffs which are higher end feels similar to Grohe's lower end stuffs. You have got to experience it by moving/twisting the tap handles. Prices of Grohe just increased on 1st March 08. !! . We regreted buying it now though .. Well, quality stuffs do come with a price! -

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. We have recommended by our ID to use WH that's why never use SBH. Cheers Samantha Keys collected on 08 03 2008 Yippie! We just collected our keys on 08032008. Had asked our contractor to have a look at the place. Hacking will start on coming Thursday/Friday! Our Door step! Seaview from our top storey (We took a lift up... heehee) A unit at this level will cost us $150k more! Teka Sale Purchase on 09 03 3008 We bought a hob and a sink at Teka Sale today. Got quite a good deal with free delivery! Teka Sink According to the sales ppl, this sink is 20cm in depth and a hole for the kitchen mixer can be drilled by the plumber. Thus, it fits all our requirements: 1. A bottom mount sink 2. Kitchen mixer have to be mounted inside (minimum water leakage to outside of sink when turing on/off the tap) 3. A good depth for washing dishes and especially wok 4. A the additional space at the side will serve as a place to put dirty dishes before washing or to defreeze stuffs (Drainage) 5. Chose the traditonal shiny one instead of the matt one as it requires less maintenance. Shiny ones are more prone to scratches and the matt ones will be harder to clean in the future due to the surface. 6. Only $144!! Teka Hob Decided on this Kitchen hob due to many factors: 1. All fires will be away from the glass backing (my contractor advise so)when I cook as I do not intend to use the small centre burner. 2. Although there was a similar model with no centre small burner, I chose this one as it was CHEAPER at 35% off! 3. The knobs for switching on the fire are angled away from the burners to avoid any accidental spills. Knobs are also noted to be more well made and of good quality when I turn them. 4. Easy to clean 5. Only at $355 (from $500)! Claytan WC ,Toto Basins and Pong Pong Cabinet Mirrors After our trip down to Teka Sales at UE, we left for Adamas at TradeHub 21 and got the following items: Claytan WC This WC has water saving and soft closing features for the toilet seats. Very popular among their customers. Now, the reasons why I chose this model at $270 compared to a $180 model is because: 1. The inside of the toilet bowl is easier to brush as there are no ridges around the opening 2. The bottom mounting of the toilet bowl allow easy washing and cleaning. (See bottom pic) 3. I changed the cover of the water tank as it's also easy to clean in the future. 4. The toilet sits is easy to purchase anyway if it is cracked or spoilt in the long run. Common Toilet Basin We chose Toto basin for its history and quality. According to the uncle at Adamas, he claimed that Toto basin will still maintain it's shine and colour after many years of usage. Also some Toto Basins have splash-proof features, ie, the inner edge of the basin ,opposite the tap is carved inwards. The MBR Basin has this feature. Master Bedroom Basin Due to the size of our MBR toilet we can only choose basins that are 450mm across and this was the one we chose. Cabinet Mirrors (No brand) We decided to buy cabinet mirrors as we do not have any storage space in our toilets. So we bought 2 of them for each toilet. -

Final Kitchen Floor Tile Final Kitchen Wall Tile Final Toilet Final Receipt!! ...... PHEW!
