do you know where to get the Oppo DVD player? Is it able to play mutil code\region? Does PS3 able to play DVD disc? or just Blu Ray? I think K is doing to same cove lighting for my place.. very nice

Everything is rising.. i not surprised that the reno cost will be going up too. For those already signed, I don't think there going to be any adjustment as the prices on the quotation has already been agreed.

Have not got the set yet.. got an option to upgrade, most probably will upgrade too. Mr. K said he will liase with them on the wiring and my installation cost is $80 leh.. !! Most probably I will get a DVD player with upscale capabilities first and maybe a PS3. Will get a BR player once it is more cheaper and common.

Hi Vince, The package cost slightly more than 2K and KEC actually recommended to me Def 800 series but i opted for the 600 series. Yes Yamaha is abit too pricey for me. How much does it cost for a good HDMI cable? KEC giving me a free HDMI cable.

I just went down to KEC and bought Onkyo TX-SR605 with Definitive 600 sub\speakers, although I think it is not the latest or high end model, I think this is good enough for me.. Now is to get a Blu Ray\DVD player that can play mulit format\region discs.. Would appreciate if any pro can give me some recommendations...

Hi Vince, Thanks for the advice. My intention is to get a 5.1 HTS that comes with Blu Ray players and able to play multi format, if there is any currently available in the market. If not then I would like to get a 5.1 AV system with HD audio first to fix up as my reno is currently ongoing and in future to connect a blu ray player to it. As I am not really an expert in this field and I just want something that can utilise my Full HD LCD, therefore I think something around the budget of $1.5K entry level would be good enough. if any of the experts here can recommend some systems that I can check out, that would be great.

Hi all, Just want check is there any experts here know something about DVD players that provide 1080 upscale.. Would like to know if I play a normal DVD on the 1080 upscale player to a HD ready or Full HD LCD TV, does it show HD quality or just normal DVD quality? Thank you in advance

Last sunday went to select tiles and reno starting this week. Which ID did you engage? I guess Kenneth has too many project on hand, he told us that he wont be getting any more projects until end april. If you want, I can ask him about your quotation.

Lastly, I did not engage his service because his quotation is abit on the high side and if you like to gather more info about Kelvin and if you have time it is advisable to read from page 1 of this topic about his services.
