For us, K normally email or pass it to us. K always told us he'll amend it bk at the office, & email us. I tink its the way different ID work. Mayb he felt tat its easier to amend on the spot, den he can show u the materials & examples. Depends on which way u like it to b & arrange wif him loh. But pls dun quote K example.. L3x

oh no, are we spoiling the market? ok, jus dun quote us can already. haha... seems lik steven will have alot of work to do.

I analyse for u, u decide on ur own.. For short circuit to occur: The water must seep thru the tiles, the cement, the trunking, & the insulation of the cable. L3x

Thx jenilim. Try to work within ur budget bah. and look ard for other alternatives. 5k really too much jus for lightings. Good luck! Hi all, here's my 3D for kitchen. however, it's still not the final version yet. duno why we cant seem to finalise even thou kitchen is not the most imp place to us. anyway, poor K. i tink he's working on the 6th or 7th drawing now. we should be choosing the stainless steel drawing no.2 however, we are tinking will it be too dark in the kitchen with our black floor tiles. actually we dun feel lik using stainless steel for the top pelmet part. however, there are no other better alternatives to brighten up the cabinets liao. anyone who has a good suggestion do let us noe! I tink it shd b ok if u r not: 1. shifting the point in the future 2. adding more points in the future Is it under wall or floor tile? Jus got to take note if under floor tiles, cos scare water seepage & cause short-circuit. If wall, shd b relatively safe.. L3x

I am looking at instant heaters, shd b 707.. Some information to share wif u all, so u can decide which type of heater to go for. Storage Heater Pro: 1. Cheaper utility bills cos electricity is converted frm gas, gas storage heater frm Citygas. 2. Able to provide hot & cold water through the house. 3. Looks neater. 4. Can have chio chio rain shower head or bath-tub. Con: 1. Have to ON it 30mins prior to usage. Unless ur heater is always ON, but will consume more electricity. 2. Have to run the gas piping for the heater. 3. Have to run piping for the cold/hot water aso. 4. Rain shower waste more water. If u r not having rain shower, must as well use instant. 5. Tank is relatively big & obvious. Personally, I feel tat it is ideal for Premium flats wif all the conceal pipings provided by HDB. Instant Heater Pro: 1. Use it instantly, no need to wait. 2. Cheaper utility bills, unless u keep the water running even when ur applying shampoo. Heheh.. 3. Cheaper labour & installation costs. Con: 1. May scald ursel if u forget to let the water run for a few seconds after u turn OFF the tap, cos the water inside the heater is still being heat. 2. Cannot have rain shower or bath-tub. 3. The heater will b unsightly to some ppl.. L3x -

I put the blower at the Living area, cos dun wan to cool my food in the dining. Dining not so hot as compared wif Living even in hot afternoon these few days.. Ya loh, no choice. Those 20bucks, forget it loh. Ya, buy already dun look back & compare. Hahha.. I aso looking for heaters leh, instant??? Any particular brand u looking at? So excited to c ur reno progressing aso.. L3x -
Btw, the solution was proposed by me.. Heheh, Sun study.. I tink its something like wat BunBun explained. Frm wat I knew: the earth works on a bearing system of 360 degrees. True NORTH approximately 359, true SOUTH approximately 180. So EAST & WEST is approximately 90 & 270 degrees respectively. Sun sets in the WEST, so approximately 270. Previously, the setting sun was facing blocks behind my block. Now the setting sun is slightly facing my unit. So I deduced the sun shifted its bearing to abt 250 or 290???

I read frm somewhere, May3r tempered glass shattered. I tink the rest shd b ok since they have 2 yrs warranty on the glass??? Ur take.. L3x

Ya, btw this is the window area. Duno clear anot.. Nvm.. Ur not the only one.. Hahha I tink u better find the TO designated for u. U go to other TO, they aso referred bk to ur designated TO. Hi Nex, ok. Den ur reno really worthwhile.. I went to (HK, SSC, Asia Excel) at IMM, PJ, RF. I find tat RF's basin & taps r cheaper. But nw aft tinking, duno worthwhile for all the effort/time/petrol spent. LG Hee.. Personal preference.. So which brand & model u taking? Seems like Kun Seng having sale, mayb u can call & check.. L3x -
Thx.. Ya, its a dwarf hamster. Erh.. Nw worried abt the setting sun. Cos I went to 179 recee 1 house, the owner told me not to get the unit facing setting Sun cos v.warm even at nite. On aircon still need couple of hours to cool down. Actually, u can login to ur HDB home page & the num of the TO is shown there. But I'll PM u in case Felix nvr PM u. Thx.. OLL always v.hyper, BSS always v.lazy.. The washing kerb is at the far end of the kitchen. Tiling prob resolved liao, but only use Hp camera to tk pics. Not so clear, later will bring camera & tk pics. Will post & let u have a look. U aso start tiling frm kitchen so as to level the tiles between kitchen & the rest of the tiles? No, I'm not using Hong Tar. Used a sub recommended by K, cos he gave quite materials & price. L3x
-
Ya, his taps cheaper. The heater around tis price. Thx.. L3x

Felix, yeah. But I tink its called Jurong East St 31, Blk 353. Dun worry, Ideal House bring their customers to buy lightings there. Strawberri, I dun tink HDB will entertain, citing u have started reno. Cos Stry aso hav problem even to replace the hollow tiles. But u can still try. Anyway, the frame has to b hacked if change door after the tiles r laid. Very messy.. Duno how to explain. My blog got pic, u can c wat i meant. L3x -
kitty, are u the kitty frm singbrides? ya, the shop is near the complex. it's called chelsea lightings. actually we bought the chandelier and ask for it to come with shades. it's abt $500. Lin

MLR, I hav studied n jus installed my trunking today. Very problematic Actually, mainly cos of our building structure(beams & pillars). Very difficult to advise. Like me, I jus use a 18k for living. Stick to Mitsubishi, Daikin to b safe. Either 1 blower or 2 blowers, we can only choose to install on the toilet wall/dining wall/living wall loh.. Jus dun get (L6), frm my study, tink someting wrong wif their aircon. Leakage, etc. Even Hong Tar has to replace 1-for-1 for them, & didnt use back L6. Hoped got help u in some way.. L3x Nex, I tink its Hafary. Better clarify wif him again, later ask u top up. But I tink if teres a need to top-up, he shd hav informed u earlier. Second wat u hav said. We all go Chinese Garden easier. Save all the trouble. Btw, I bought my lightings today. $$$ Mayb u can try Poh Joo, Royal Franco. RF's sanitaries quite cheap, but not for stove etc.. in blog L3x -
