Hi @kirinshibori Not sure if you are still active on renotalk, but would like to check with you if you are still using EF Power Slim 90? I was introduced this model recently about its 1000 m3/hr suction (can't believe this model is still in the market). Can you please share with me your review of this hood? Thank you so much!

Hi Ray, Can you please PM your contractor's contact? Thanks a million! -
Hi everyone, need a little advice from those who has already done their renovation! We are currently overseas but because we are collecting keys next month and starting renovation end of the year (when we will be back for good) so we are starting to look for IDs / contractors. I would like to ask, after your ID contact you and you send them your requirements / floorplan etc, how did your ID reply back to you all? Did they provide you with a quotation / their rough idea? Or you have to meet up with them to get the quotation / ideas? Is it possible to get quotation then if out of budget then choose not to meet them? Then if I want to schedule a meet up with them, usually what will the ID provide on the spot? They can come up with the quotation immediately? Then for contractors, is it easier to just meet up with them directly, show them your ideas and ask for quotation? Sorry I have no experience so I don't know what replies to expect from them and how I should proceed after I send them the requirements. Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

Close or Open Concept Kitchen for Cooks and Bakers?
cookingbaker replied to cookingbaker's topic in Kitchen & Bathroom
I don't think I can do a wet and dry kitchen, otherwise I'll have to eat into my dining room area. I will be knocking down the service yard to make a bigger kitchen though -

Close or Open Concept Kitchen for Cooks and Bakers?

Hi Lolagrace, I'm graduating towards close kitchen, but with half wall-half glass for the side facing the living room. For what styles glass panels will be inappropriate? Can you please elaborate? Thanks! -
Hi everyone, I'm looking for homeowners who cook and bake a lot at home to share their advice/experience. I like to cook, everything from steaming to stir-frying and deep-frying, so I know a closed concept kitchen will be better so that the house will not be oily / dirty. But I also like to bake, and given Singapore's hot climate, it's easier to bake in an air-conditioned environment, so an open concept kitchen will be ideal because it doesn't make sense for us to install an air conditioning in the kitchen. An open concept kitchen is also more ideal for entertaining as we like to have friends over. Are there any homeowners out there who have this dilemma and what are your kitchen concepts at the end? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!
