Hi everyone, Need some advice here. I cement screed my walls in my bathroom. I am having problem with cleaning the walls as it is very porous, thus it traps alot of (dunno what you call that ) yellowish stain. I intend to laquer it, but before that i need to really clean it. Anyone knows how to do it? I tried using easy-bang (something like that) but it's not easy to clean. Thanks

Hi Lin, Yup, in fact all the floorings and ceiling done. Now cleaning, painting and 1st washing by contractor. Hopefully next week can start carpentry liao. Floor all covered up so can't take pics as yet. These are all my Id's ideas. He like to hide all the cables under the tiles. Need alot of planning ahead so that we know which cable goes where. Pro will be a cleaner look without cables all over the place. Cons will be spoilt cables can't change unless hack the floor tiles Great! Which floor are you at? Me at 13. Easy to identify cos I am the only one doing reno on that floor...hehe

Hi Felix, Work has started for mine. They have started with the electrical wiring, false ceilings and L-box. Waiting for air-con man to run pipings tomorrow. Did alot of shopping these few days and spend alot...oh my...need to buy so many things... I think they gonna start the floor soon. HDB has cement screed my bedrooms...very fast too. Told me by mid-mar, but it's done a few days ago. Now reservist, so very tiring...sigh...

ya...i have reported...and they are fast... Hi strawberri, me intend to start on the week of 18 Feb. Gotten my keys....hohoh just to check, the screws on my window frame are rusty, is it a defect? and you know what? my letter box unit number is the same as the unit below me. I was looking for it and can't find, then realise there's 2 box with the same unit number. try my luck and it's mine...

Hi guys, How did you guys get scv to activate the point? I called 1633, choose to spk to operator. They told me i need to pay $56 to get the points activated cos I miss the hot job period. I am getting the keys only tomorrow...And i need to plug a TV to the point so that they can check...this is crazy can i do it myself?

Been very busy with work, house and wedding...very stressful btw, i called HDB a couple of days back, and got a call from the officer today. She told me she will expedite my key collection and i can most probably get it end of this mth or early bext mth...haha

Me ROM-ed. Now looking around also, but somehow kind of settled with 2 liao. But my wife already decided on 1 among the 2 cos we can really talk. And he understand what we are trying to tell him and vice versa. hmm...from this statement, i think i have also chosen.
