  1. oh...okok....looks good..will consider that....just tat will headache on the top n bottom laminates..like white colour but scared will turn yellow....
  2. not sure if they would allow the same deposit to buy other lights or not....if i m not wrong, they are willing only to refund 50% of the value.
  3. just move on ba....if close deal, why still draw lots?? a bit unethical..probably they are waiting for other offers to come in also.
  4. oh okok...let me know your reviews when you start using it... your granite top is not full black colour issit? thot there are some sparkles...me intending to do granite kitchen top too..still thinking for my vanity top though..
  5. no la...if that's the case, will just take the refund and go off while i top up the balance to my mum..will not get my lights from them also...i know not to pay for anything in full..that time i was not with my mum...she being the first time reno, gan cheong..when darren brought her to buy lights...she happily chosen and paid in full...after that, i ask her why so fast when all the drawings are not out??? alas..all done..nothing i can do...subsequently she went for surgery and i was so bz also..
  6. anyone?? if that's the case as in only 50% refund, i will have to top up the balance to my mum..my fault for recommending her to darren then...feel so bad....haiz..darren also would not refund her the $500 deposit for reno as my mum did not proceed with reno...by right there should also be 3D drawings..not even one pc.. i will not recommend anyone else to him then.. nvm anyway, will be starting on my reno research n process for my EM later..just dun wan more trouble n stress..
  7. Hi, my mum has paid for her lightings in 2007 in one of the lightings shop @ balestier as she planned to renovate her house. The shop required her to make full payment. Then subsequently, she went for a surgery thus the reno did not go ahead. Now the problem is, she has already paid for the lights. Now she would like to recover the lights but the lights were sold. So she asked if can refund. The lady sounded aggressive and told her only 50% refund since the items were not collected more than 1 year. She has spoken to Darren of Plush (the ID) who brought her there to buy the lights. He sd the same thing and remarked to my mum to go and check in the market on the impossibility of full refund. The thing was he forgot to tell the lighting shop that my mum did not proceed with the lights and the lighting shop did not call her up to ask her to collect the lights at all. So now, what can we do? Lightings are already paid in full. No Lightings as they are already sold to others. Shop only willing to refund 50%. Anyone encountered this?
  8. what kind of sink is that for your kitchen sink? is it better than stainless steel type?
  9. adora green also not that near...walk also need 10 to 15mins wor....
  10. at first i m looking at this project...but then i dun wan to wait for 3 yrs...somemore the prices are equivalent to the resale prices..so i hv gone ahead to buy a resale flat which i can get it in 2 to 3 months time. up to you. can go and see the showflat first b4 u decide. heard for this project, the 5 rooms come with 4 bedrooms..hmm i can imagine a queen size bed and a cupboard and not much space then...
  11. same here....since i am remarrying..i sold my flat and gng to buy a resale with new partner...now considering whether to go for 2nd concessionary hdb loan (considered 2nd timer even though partner is 1st timer) or bank loan...we are eligible for 2nd concessionary hdb loan...i understand that 50% of my cash proceeds will be plunged back into new flat...so if this cash is plunged back, i would hv contributed far more than partner... any advice? really in dilemma as the cash will be locked into the flat.
